On holiday in Cowes from Gippsland, bought steak from here and the owner was absolutely amazing. we had a good chat, told us how to cook it and had a laugh. 10/10 would recommend this butcher to anyone on the island. The owner was lovely and i wish he had a shop near me.

Rowan is a friendly & knowledgeable butcher who knows his meat and will look after you. Amine sufferers should ask him directly how they can minimise their amines, and which meat to buy on which days. He can even make up a special batch of low allergy sausages, given 24 hours notice and a 3kg minimum batch.So if you are on Philip Island, go to the little arcade off the Woolies to find the Heard of Cowes butchers.My family has been FAILSAFE & low-FODMAP for nearly ten years now, and we appreciate being able to find a good local butcher.
