Amazing venue in an amazing place. Friendly staff that you will see in both the bakery and airport (I'm assured no bakers fly the planes). well worth the trip whether you fly in or drive. We took a flight over the flood waters, highly recommended if you have the option.

Over priced & overrated!Woman behind the bar was not very friendly, more interested in flogging plane joy rides.The most expensive beer in over 7000kms travelled. Anyway, been there done that.

Food and accommodation were great, particularly given location. Recommend chicken pot pie, if on menu, yummy!

One of our favourite pubs. A great place to stop for a few days after a long drive on some rough and tough tracks.You get to meet fellow travellers and hear their stories whilst enjoying a few cold refreshments. Staff a super friendly and the meals are great.We travel Australia and film iconic pubs as a hobby. Have a look at our channel on YouTube @petespuboftheday

Loved birdsville hotel and loved all the memorabilia in the ceiling and walls. What an iconic place. Service was good and talking to the locals gave more insight to the place.

Great iconic pub, a must visit for a beer and a counter meal however, all their merchandise is very expensive (a tourist trap if you like). So they lost our merchandise sales to the Roadhouse and Visitor Centre. They should be going for volume sales, not sky high sales.

A great icon of the Inland, a must after a trip across the Simo. Enjoyed the beer and a good feed.

We had a brilliant stay at the Birdsville Pub. The meals were excellent and the staff were so friendly. Rooms good, especially considering the location. Would definitely stay again and wish my local pub did meals like we are in Birdsville.
