Kiama Community Recycling Centre
First and last time we visit the Kiama tip. We were there to drop off chopped up wood. Apparently wood is not accepted. Why Not? For heaven's sake, it's WOOD! We were not there to dispose of space junk. X- Rays are accepted, paint is accepted, but not wood. Car batteries are accepted but not wood. Plus, there is nowhere on the Community Recycling flyer that says wood will not be accepted. Then we were told we could visit the Shellharbour tip, but that's in a red zone". Worse than hopeless."
