Some of the best Chinese I’ve had, a little old style restaurant

I called to place a take away order but the lady was rude and said I needed to pay cash. When I said I didn’t have cash she hung up on me. Possibly one of the business trying to avoid paying tax.

It's a brilliant little diamond tucked away in a little laneway across from the pub. Great food, great value, highly recommend.Seems to mostly be takeaway, but was still great as a dine-in option as well.

They only accept cash and are highly likely avoiding Taxes for both business and wages.Their Fire Exit is blocked by a big table.The dine in space is extremely small.The dine in chairs, tables, carpet etc. is very bad quality and poorly made.We booked a table and they didn't even set up a table for us. The table she gave us didn't even have soy sauce on it like all the others.The lady is rude and impatient.They poured sauce on our dumplings instead of providing sauce as a side. What restaurant does this? There are people out there who don't or can't have sauce, this is disgusting behaviour.Do NOT recommend this restaurant, only giving 2 stars because the food was great and well priced.

The food was perfect, i left feeling full but not bloated, the people were very nice and did'nt prompt you to buy more but helped us imagin the portion sizes

Cash only. Food not hot enough and quite dry. Sauce on dumplings not stated on menu.

Delicious food and wonderful service! I always look forwards to a good meal from Golden Sands.

Was really looking forward to it based on the review. Certainly a lot of locals. Average price $20 for main dish. Husband and wife in the kitchen, and one friendly staff at the front taking order. Some aspects of Cantonese cooking.
