Wattle Flat Race Track & Golf Course
Located along the Limekilns Road approximately 4.3km from Wattle Flat is the Wattle Flat Race & Golf Course. This is the home of the famous Bronze Thong bush horse race and festival but a little know fact is that there is a9 hole gold course located within the grounds. At the time of posting this review the cost of playing a round of golf is $5 and payable by the honesty box system. Members play every Thursday & Sunday with tee off time at 2pm (3pm during winter). Small covered shelters are located at most of the tee off areas with seating inside. Sand drums and rubbish bins conveniently located.This course has a real country feel to it.
