Had my engagement and eternity ring resized. Price was fair. Too long in store waiting to be served both times. Was told a wait time of 4 weeks, only to take longer and they only called the day before I was due to collect, after I called the shop, to tell me. Upon pickup, the rings were way way way too big, and the woman asking what had I done. There was a difference between the ring sizer and the actual rings. Idiot. Even she said both rings were different sizes. No offer to repair error. Overall, a completely unprofessional approach, I just wanted to get out. There are other better jewellers that know what they are doing correctly, so I will now be going elsewhere. Truly don't waste your time. Pay a little more for better service and a better waiting time.

The work is brilliant, but their customer service at front of store is absolutely appalling!! The elderly lady is rude, abrupt, condescending, and full of her own self importance.She has ended up costing me money and left me with a ring I can't wear, which has enormous sentimental value,as she did not listen to what I wanted. My fault for not staying and watching her fill in the whole repair envelope, but I just wanted to get away, so took my section and left her to fill in the store section. Needless to say she filled it in incorrectly. In future I will go elsewhere or only go into the store when she is not working!

Had a gold necklace repaired, it was very affordable and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The necklace is repaired however it isn’t quite up to my expectations. Being a complex chain I understood it wouldn’t match completely but it looks pretty obvious and quite average. For the price I paid I think it is fair work though so this isn’t a complaint, but maybe if they offered another service (if they do I’m unaware) that was a little more expensive for higher quality work I would recommend that instead.

I attended to have a ring resized. The lady who served me told me it would be sent away for 3 weeks for the work to be done and quoted me $80. I was under the impression all work was carried out in store. After I left the store I received a call stating the jewels required rebeading and quoted a high cost for this. I declined the rebeading and asked that they continue with just resizing.After 4 weeks I received a phone call stating my ring was ready for collection, and stated the cost was $90 for resizing plus the additional cost of rebeading. I informed them I had declined the rebeading and that I had been quoted a different amount. They seemed confused.I attended the store I collect my ring, which felt no different and I was in a hurry so I should have been more thorough. They then proceeded to attempt to charge me for the rebeading and resizing. After an assertive conversation it was agreed I hadn't wished for it to be rebeaded so I only paid the quoted $80 for resizing.That night I realized my ring was still the incorrect size so I reattended the next day to get a refund on the resizing. When served, the lady realized the ring hadn't been resized but continued to try and jam it on the wand anyway (I suppose in hope it would stretch!?!) And then went looking through their paperwork" which was a small notebook with scribbles through it. I informed her they had sent it away for 4 weeks and she stated that all work is done in-store. I explained another staff member had told me otherwise to which she looked very annoyed that said staff member had told a customer the truth!I did manage to get a refund after they did offer to re-send it for resizing. No thanks

I have just had a tanzanite ring made.by Lyn at Menzies. I am thrilled with this magnificent ring. This Is not the first time I have had jewellery made by this business and have had many compliments in the past

Linda did a fantastic job of reinstating a ring that had previously been taken to a well known jewellery firm who botched the job. The ring is a family heirloom and as such is irreplaceable. I am very grateful to Linda and the friendly professional staff.
