I was looking for English tutoring for my child and came across Tye & English. I was sent an enrolment pack and my child was advised to write a practise essay. Booked an appointment to discuss the practise essay my child had written and understand how the sessions are structured. I was asked to fill and sign an enrolment form the moment I walked in and I asked them if I am able to do that after meeting with Mr.Tye. I eventually filled it in after the meeting but they were unhappy that I didn't fill it at the start. The lady at the reception started accusing me of not providing information at the start while they already had the required details from my email and message. This sort of behaviour was totally unwarranted and unnecessary.

Excellent and insightful teaching of the VCE curriculum, particularly in VCE English Language. Highly skilled and knowledgeable teachers that take calculated and methodical steps for mastery of subjects, which is only enhanced by their diligence in marking essays. All of the work I handed in (sometimes an outrageous amount) was promptly corrected by Mr Tye and I quickly received useful feedback the following week. Highly recommended for everyone!

A truly excellent tutor whom I can recommend to all those seeking to excel in English and English Language!I attended this institution for only 9 months, yet it single-handedly made the biggest difference to my final results.I'm a student from Camberwell Grammar who completed Year 12 in 2019 and, as of writing, has just received an impressive ATAR of 99.95 with a raw study score of 47 in English Language (i.e. within the top 1% of students).Without the careful instruction of Mr Tye, I could not have achieved such an impressive result in this subject. My day-school teachers were not particularly well-equipped to teach students to succeed in English Language, achieving results quite lacklustre relative to our school's strong English/EAL and Literature cohorts, but Mr Tye far exceeded my expectations, tirelessly conferring upon me and other tutees a plenitude of tips with which to improve our understanding of the requisite topics, writing and analytical skills.By imparting pertinent examples and contextual understanding with which to flesh out our essays, Mr Tye diminished any feelings of anxiety as the late-October exam dawned on us. Any remaining anxiety was certainly quashed with his relentless marking of student submissions with unseen topics and texts for analysis. And he did this all at an honest and affordable rate in a classroom environment conducive to learning.I could not have achieved this little dream of mine without Mr Tye's erudition and patience. The lecturing is clear and precisive in dept coverage for the topic being discussed. Lecture has broad experiences and knowledge in teaching who always deliver the qualities to bring up the best of the students.

As a teacher at various coaching centres in Melbourne , I have been exposed to teaching /learning materials at numerous coaching centres. I would vouch for the effectiveness of Tye & English module based learning which caters to individual student learning needs. I have seen significant improvement in both my children 's English academic proficiency in a short span of time. Credit would also go to Mr Tye who keeps a check on quality teaching materials and teachers whom he selects stringently.
