Bupa Aged Care Clayton

Appalling experience working here. Worst place I’ve ever worked at.Extremely poor staffing. There are multiple arguments going on between so many staff from the start of the shift, topic is where they prefer to work. Like you have to fight a war before getting to work. 0 management.And, there were only 2 staff for the whole floor of residents for 2 or 3 hours towards the end of shift. Because the rest were not booked to work till the end.Does Bupa even care about the safety of the residents? Do they care about the staff?They also got shocking management. The clinical something manager did not have any idea of what management is. I told her I need some help because of some important issues, what she said basically is no one is gonna help, you just carry on. She only agreed to help later when I escalated the issue. And yes, there can be help, they just don’t want to offer.There’s more, One person was meant to be splitting some tasks with me but they refused to help, reason is “I don’t work on this floor, they put me here, so I can’t help you”.The only reason I didn’t walk out is I cannot leave those imperative care tasks done halfway, I do not want to compromise my care to the residents just because of how bad this facility is, the residents are innocent.Shame on you Bupa, if you only care about profit, then don’t get involved in this industry. This is abuse to staff and negligence to residents.

My aunt died here 2 weeks ago. Our family didn't receive any support from new manager on a second floor. We have asked for assistance but new general manager put his curtain down and hides in his office.

We observed that care staff receive limited support from management. Staff told us they cried out for help and the new Care Manager SP dismissed their plea and kept hiding in the office playing with her phone.We were told she also uses fake ID to post positive review of herself and the place.

Fiema was an angel and helped out with all my questions. I am very happy and would recommend this facility.

Don t Put yr Family Members here,very bad Place,my Mum just passed away 3 weeks Ago,She was in this Place for 2 Yrs,we Put her Here to be Looked after,She was Treated like A Dog, we made a Huge Complaint to the Age Care commission ,our Mother had Bruise s on her whenever we saw her.l worked in Nursing Home s for around 10 yrs,now l do Private Care in the my Car.l Know the Staff are Stressed but there needs to be an overhall of the Aged Care Sector ,my Auntie is Still there ,and we will be watching this Nursing Home very Carefully. Also Staff at Bupa in Clayton, l will say only 1 or 2 are Friendly and Helpful ,the Rest don t Care about you and yr Elderly Parents, a lot of them are working there so they Get there PR to stay in Australia, if you Don t HV Empathy for the Sick ,Don t work in the Industry ,lm Studying to Become a Nurse,if l ever treated the Elderly and there Families like Dogs l would Leave.The Facility Manager at the Place was Rude as well !!!

I would like to recommend Bupa in Clayton. I find the staff excellent, helpful and friendly. With this opportunity I had to deal for my beloved wife to be admitted to their centre. The actual building is spacious, plenty room for the residents to move around and the actual rooms are large and comfortable. I highly recommend to everyone to speak to the friendly staff!

Was forced to give 1 star because 0 is not an option.Management only care about $$$$, they couldn't care less about the residents and their health/well being/basic human rights.90% of the staff they hire are completely imcopentant.Sometimes I had to pinch myself and realise that this establishment" is actually located in a 1st world country. Too bad the service is worse than a 3rd world nation.....If you want to kill someone and/or make them suffer every day for the rest of their lives

I tripped walking through the car park tonight, two ladies Yasman and Buramah, I recalled their names, were in the car park at that time, they came to my aid, I am thanking you publicly, which is the least I can do. I wasn't injured but just shaken by the tripping. Thanks for the assistance. I felt really thankful about it. Hope I got your names right. I am fine.

Amazing staff and managers. They were really helpful with my queries and took me through the whole process. Especially the manager Fiema was quite astounding with providing help.
