If I could give no stars I would. Poor communication. Happy to promise the world and when there's a problem no follow up for months then lots of excuses. Expensive and once they have your money no customer service or poor if any. Now they expect me to pay for repairs on the fake grass. They quoted on the job before undertaking it obviously. It would have been better for them to be honest and say I would have ongoing issues if i went ahead. AND they certainly don't tell you how HOT the grass is under foot. Not good if you have dogs or other pets. Extremely disappointed in all associated with this company except the original installer who no longer works for them. I wonder why??

Had a consultant do a measure up for an Outdoor kitchen.He said he would draw up the plan and quote and send it to me that afternoon.After 3 weeks of waiting for it I rang the Newcastle office I was told by the receptionist that she would get their sales manager to ring me.After another week of waiting for the phone call I rang again and was told that all the sales were on other calls and she would get one of them to call me when they were free.Yet another week has passed and still no return call.Extremely poor customer service and would never recommend.

We have used AOL on 3 separate occasions now and each time we have found the whole experience from start to finish to be handled by knowledgeable people who give great advice on choosing the right product. They work out the best way to do the install and have always been on time with delivery and installation. Installation has been great every time. The thing we like too is the quality. Very robust material which you know is going to stand up to the outdoor conditions, including strong winds. We highly recommend AOL.

My parents recently got their blinds installed and they are so happy with them. Excellent quality. We can't feel the cold while sitting outside. Well worth the money spent for these outdoor blinds. Great customer service and a very friendly and professional team. Thank you very much My parents are so happy and now can sit outside without feeling wind or the coldness in these cooler months.

I preface this review by advising that I am an Australian Outdoor Living Employee and have been for the past 9 and a half years. Until we moved into our latest home, we have been renting. It was great to be able to finally purchase some blinds from a great family company. I am very impressed by the quality and workmanship, professionally installed by a great tradesman. While I am biased I would recommend Australian Outdoor Living for any of the prodcuts that they offer. My next purchase will be one their very high quality outdoor kitchens.

I contacted Australian Outdoor living for a quote for artificial lawn, made appointment, sales guy turned up, measured the area, sighted the access and gave me a quote. I accepted this quote and deposit paid. I was told it would be 1-2 months before installation. A few weeks after the initial quote they came to do a check measure. A couple of weeks after this I received a phone call saying that due to the access issues to my property (which they saw during the original quote), that they have to increase the quote by $1500. I informed them that I wouldn’t pay anymore and would like to cancel the job completely. After this conversation I was informed they would honor the original quote. I didn’t like how they did business and happily cancelled. To their credit they gave my deposit back without a fight

Worst company ever. Had to wait 8 months for our artificial grass. Measured twice and still got it wrong, therefore a further wait. No compensation offered. Very rude staff. Then wanted payment as soon as job was finished. So it is alright for us to wait 8 months for the product to be installed but you want your money straight away. Would not recommend this company at all. Unprofessional and very rude. Told one thing by salespersons and other by check measures and installers. Too many chefs in the kitchen. Not worth a star at all. Not impressed and very dissatisfied. Definitely would not recommend.
