I have been going to Dyson for a few years now. Honest and great mechanic always helpful. Wouldn’t go anywhere else in Airlie for my cars work.

Dyson is always very good have been going there for some years very resonable polite happy to give advice. Would recommend them very highly

UPDATE: Since I can’t reply to answers in my reviews on Google, I’m updating my review.In my earliest review I wrote about this guy being dishonest, not making himself responsible for ruining the electricity of my car, when I only took it for a steering rack replacement.He says that the cause was that “my van is old”. My van was perfect.Anyone who knows a bit about mechanic, knows that when welding, batteries should be disconnected. He didn’t, he knows it, and I have proof of this. (Even the electrician could tell). It’s done now, and my car was already taken to an electrician (unpredicted waste of time and money), but I want people who consult this service on Google, to know it.Thanks/Original:I would put 0 stars if I could…We took the car for a steering rack replacement. When we went to pick it up, the electricity was not working. It stopped working while the car was at the repair. The guy took no responsibility in the matter, so we later had to take the car to an electrician. According to him, the electricity was affected at the moment the mechanic welded.I don’t recommend this service at all, it was inconsiderate, dishonest and unprofessional.

Excellent service, easy to chat to, very fair price. I was particularly impressed with their advice which was to wait and purchase tyres later - even though we would no longer be in town

Highly recommended!!!We drove from Sydney to Airlie Beach and ended up with the water pump going. Having called Dyson he had the car fixed and returned on the same day we called.WOW impressed.Peter and I thank you more than words can say

Had Road worthy done for vehicle purchase, this was to see what he was like, then went back to get a service done, then took a car that I was selling back for a Roadworthy and repairs. So I think that tells you that I have been very happy with his service, will continue using Dyson in the future.

Dyson was great. If I lived here would use him full time but I am only passing through.

We are up in Queensland from New South Wales visiting friends and I was recommended to Dyson regarding some mechanical issues I had with our vehicle very polite and very approachable person when you looked around his office and workshop you can tell that you are dealing with a professional regards Mark Wilden
