Bitter Suite | Scheduling and Booking Website | Welcome to Bitter Suite, a charming bar, restaurant and cafe in Brisbane’s New Farm that we like to call home.Our spacious venue – which can easily host events and special occasions – boasts wonderfully high ceilings, brick walls and a laid-back atmosphere that makes it perfect for a spot of casual dining.Our menu features an exciting mix of bar bites, sharing plates and hearty mains inspired by the fabulous flavours of French and Italian cuisine.We’re also proud of our craft beer and cocktail selection while if you’re in need of a caffeine hit, our freshly brewed coffee should do just the trick.Don’t forget also that on the weekends Bitter Suite – like a good friend – is there for you morning, noon and night.So why not pop down to Welsby Street and snap up a seat on our sun-kissed terrace or in a cosy corner inside. not so much suite, mostly bitter...came here for dinner with my partner, waited a ridiculous amount of time for food, the staff actually forgot about our order so we had to re-order it again. They never put it through their system or handed the order to the kitchen ????? the bare minimum of a restaurant. The food was sloppy and cold. Give the pasta a miss, it was oily and greasy, and yet prices were exorbitant for what you actually get.Also got charged for a jug that we didn't order, nor have at the table, so got ripped off even more in the end.The funny thing is, we actually ordered two more drinks after dinner that literally never arrived to our table, yet they werent on our final bill.. perhaps forgotten about again? Do your staff have short term memory loss? It seems to be a theme.Will never return here and I suggest you don't go either if you're looking for a new place to try. An overall very poor experience, genuinely not one positive thing I could think of to mention.

Dined on Sun 7/5/23 5:30pm. Tacos were alright at best, a bit undercooked and barely warm. Potato bravas at $14 really overpriced for what was a smallish dish of spicy potatoes. Service a bit wonky and disorganised as well. Sorry to say it guys but it was underwhelming, you definitely can do better

Had a brilliant lunch today! We had margaritas, Parmies, burgers and to start Chorizo balls!Everything exceeded my expectation! If you want value for money with PARMIs they would be the best prices and taste in Brisbane

The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I enquired about their draught beers and received great recommendations.The food was great! We tried their special for the day, a seafood risotto, as well as a loaded parmie. The portion sizes were really good too.We enjoyed live music by a talented young duo while we ate and the atmosphere was really good. The restaurant is near New Farm park, so ideal for a post-stroll dinner.On top of all this, I managed to forget my rucksack at the restaurant and it was well looked after until I was able to pick it up. Everyone there was very helpful in that slightly stressful situation and I'm grateful for it

Sadly fell short of expectations. The food got a pass mark but I suggest adding the fries to the burgers and simply upping the price by $4 (optics). The burgers were ok otherwise but no excuse for leaving lettuce off a burger (visually even it's important), the dips and bread were cold and had an odd pesto as one of the dips that was not nice at all though the very smokey hummus was. The staff were friendly but unfortunately collectively clueless though I acknowledge one guy was certainly new. The margarita was good and grabbed some ice cream next door after which was great and helped salvage the night a bit.

Great service and atmosphere. Their staff is very friendly and efficient. The food is great and some mains are huge. My choice was the seafood parmi that could easily feed 2 people. Delicious. Their entrees are amazing, good option to share and try a bit of everything.The outdoor area is also great, went a couple of times with my dog for brunch in the morning under the cosy sun and we had a blast.Definitely recommend and will return.

Came here for dinner with my partner before a show. We ordered the traditional chicken parmigiana and a cheeseburger, the food was good but took a very long time to come out after ordering - we arrived at 7:30 and food didn't come out until around 8:30, drinks took a while too considering we ordered a Corona and vodka lemonade. Would expect quicker service for the prices.

Loved it here. Great , fast service, warm and very helpful ,friendly staff. Meal was delicious and quite reasonably priced considering location. I came here with my family, and we all felt very welcome. Thank you JP

Good food but not very attentive service. There were only a few tables seated when we went and it still took over 10 minutes from ordering to get the drinks. The food makes up for what the service lacks, they do very nice burgers.
