Medical One - Waurn Ponds

The best medical clinic in the area! Dr Katharine Dally is awesome... so thorough and caring (and probably the best doctor I've ever had in my 60+ years). Highly recommend Medical One Waurn Ponds.

Wonderful place. The reception staff are always lovely, the doctors are kind and knowledgeable, and the nurses are all heart. I would definitely come back and recommend to family and friends.

We see Dr.Anushia and she's absolutely lovely and thorough explaining everything. She's been absolutely wonderful for help with my daughters and one with complex needs. Thank you so much, and same to reception. Always kind.

I have been seeing Dr Mendis for 5 years for my kids and I. I can not thank him enough.He is beyond professionalism, caring and helpful. We are very lucky to have such a good doctor I strongly recommend him as I'd never had wrong advice or treatment from him for 5 years.

New online booking system is cooked and doesn't work. Dr Monique Couch is a legend, but Dr George Joseph should not be having direct contact with patients due to his dismissive demeanor and lack of empathy. I understand that compassion fatigue is real, but it's not fair on the doctors who do act with integrity like Dr Couch, for others like Dr Joseph to undo our faith in the medical system.

Dr Joseph was fantastic and looked into the cause of my problem instead of just giving pain killers. Thank you so much Dr Joseph.

I came here feeling a bit sorry for myself (*whispers*: manflu) and a tad sheepish because it was Sunday and my regular doctor's was closed. It was 1130AM and I could have gone to one of the few bulk billers roundabouts but, ehhhrr, I did not feel like driving far or waiting long. I was hesitant at the fee. I overcame that through need. The receptionist, Anabell, and the doctor (DR ANUSHIA VIJAYADASS) were just lovely. Actually, Dr Vijayadass was beyond lovely: calming, assuring, informative; she gave me typical advice and prescription but other, very helpful advice I had not had before. I followed both typical and first-time advices and now, a day and a bit later and Im feeling much better. Decor is lovely. Clean. Nice place indeed.

I would rate zero if I could. Dr. George Joseph is a complete hack. My partner went in for care concerning Adenomyosis which is being managed via birth control methods that she waited TWO YEARS for. Children are not on the cards for us, by decision. His solution? Have some kids. When my partner objected, he asked her what are you here on this planet for if not to care for others and your children." This is a wildly inappropriate comment stemming from an outdated personal view of women. A formal complaint will be submitted to AHPRA. This Doctor should NOT be practising."

Waited half an hour after my appointment time (super reasonable it’s a doctors), but when it was my appointment time I felt like I was rushed out of the room and then got charged $100 for it. I didn’t get the support I needed and I was super upset because it took a lot for me to ask for help and I wasn’t listened to. Not the place to go if you need anything beyond a script. (This is just my experience I’m sure there are lots of time pressures they’re under but it just felt terrible)

Really happy with the level of care provided at this clinic. Everyone on reception is so friendly and welcoming and my GP is great too! Very well run clinic!
