Party Food Melbourne (PFM Events)

Communication was effective, easy.Food delivery was perfect.Food was great!Everything had been made easy for me, and my guests very much enjoyed the food provided by PFM.Jenn was super and extremely helpful!Hundred percent recommended!!!For a stress free party/event.

At first I would have praised Jenn from the party food people as she re opened her shop for me at the very last minute after she had to close and was moving houses that weekend. To help a stranger who was stuck on Catering out a day before the event. She was lovely in person and helped me and offered me her catering services and found me 2 caterers at the last minute. We sat down and discussed the menu. How many people and the prices. It was a menu that allowed me to select 7-10 menu items at $16 per adult and $10 per child. I had 70 people in total which was made up of 30 kids and 40 adults. Everything was sorted. On the day of the party I found out that some of the items they had only had 40 of or 30 of. Split between the kids and adults. Specifically- we had even discussed the meatballs to be served to the children- they were not. There was not enough. Same as the fish and chips. We specifically discussed the chicken crackles for the kids and they’d do a chicken goujon for the adults. After speaking to the caterers there they said they didn’t bring any chicken goujons for the adults at all. The children were hungry- the adults were hesitant to eat off the dips platter which had minimal Turkish bread on it.I was also told the spring rolls would be vegan as we had some vegan guests and it turned out the caterer said they were vegetarian but not vegan.Anyway all was well and good- I still paid the caterers their share on the day and thought I’d bring it up with Jenn (the owner) via email the next day. Politely. Well it’s been a week. 3 emails later and I have received nothing. Not even an acknowledgment. Obviously it comes naturally to take over a thousand dollars off people to rip them off. And try to get away with it. Thinking (I wouldn’t know what food they bring anyway)I paid for 70 people and chose 9 items off the menu as I was entitled to. Every item should have been 70 as quantity. But when the caterers showed me their list. Some items only had 30 as their quantity. Such poor form to steal people’s money like that And even poorer form to not even have the decency to respond to people’s feedback and concerns.

Honestly some of the best catering ever. PFM did my 18th birthday party food and I had so many people tell me how good it was. They were also so helpful with the cake we had gotten and helped to distribute and even helped slice it up perfectly. Could not recommend these guys enough!

I reached out to Jenn with only a couple of days notice for help in catering for a funeral service. She was very helpful which took a lot of the stress away. I ordered from the finger food menu and Jenn helped create a custom package that would well suit the occasion.The food was not only fresh and well presented but very tasty and was as described.I would definitely use Party Food Melb again, hopefully for more happier occasions in future.

We used Party Food Melbourne in July for our son's Bar Mitzvah. My first dealings with this company was with Jane Mc Donald who was extremely helpful in planning a menu which was acceptable for our Synagogue (vegetarian and Kosher fish). The feedback from our guests, was that the food was outstanding. On the day, the ladies in the kitchen worked well with very little guidance required. I would most definitely recommend this company to others.

The organic balloon backdrop for my 21st was absolutely stunning. A modern and funky design that made the event space and was the talking point of the night! Install by the team was quick, easy and effortless. Would definitely recommend to all my friends.

Jenn's attention to customer service detail was excellent. We had a DIY wedding event and PFM was initially food catering, then extended to interior and exterior design. The process was streamlined through her creativity and populating pinterest and spreadsheet to follow and keep up with decisions. Jenn was accommodating to our needs and budget and made the day special with her team on the day - great food and service. No big event comes without it's hicups, and Jenn navigated them well and helped resolve them without too much fuss. Thanks for your professionalism, hard work and guiding us through the process.

Recently used these guys to cater our party after our wedding. Despite a slight hick up of being a little late to arrive (stuff happens so no big deal), Jen was fabulous!!! Food starting coming out within 15 minutes of arrival and it was sooooooo delicious!!! All of our friends and family loved the food!!! My son's girlfriend even asked for the number so pass onto her family for an upconing party. Thanks for making our night a load of fun Jen. Highly recommend these guys. I requested a quote from PFM and they were very kind to give me a call to understand my needs. Although we weren’t suitable for each other Jennifer was kind to provide other vendors that will meet my needs. Thank you for great customer service !
