First of all after telling the triage nurse I'm in considerable pain and had a temperature ..she did not take my temperature or made any attempt on pain relieve for my lung infection caused by the burn offs .Made me wear a mask .I got a xray done quite fast ..but after that ..3 hours still nothing ..I was observing that the little children went first as they came in .I could not breath and had to walk out .Upon arriving home I started to cough up blood .I will ring tomorrow for the result ...more aspirin I guess that hardly works .Been there before 3 years prior for the same condition with reasonable attention ..but this time shocking .Even visitors waiting on family got their temp taken because of covid .Is she discriminating or something ?Or she just dint do her job right ? I looked like rag as I had not been able to eat for days .Worse treatment I've ever had in a emergency !

Brought my partner here for a serious pain issue. Right from the moment we arrived people were helpful and attentive. We were triaged in a timely manner and admitted to a bed fairly quickly with pain relief provided in a reasonable time frame. The doctor was knowledgeable and great. A physio came over to make sure there was enough movement to safely go home.

If you have more than four hours time go to emergency. When we got there the nurse warned us it is going to take a couple of hours. After 2 hours when I asked her she said I told you it will take many hours. There was lady in real pain and vomiting she got in after one hour. Call ambulance maybe you can get in.

One of the worst emergencies. The wait time is absolutely horrible. My 18month old had a constant fever of 38-41c for over 2 days. After channelling a GP online and nurse on call they advised to take her to see a doctor. Came to Angliss in Ferntreegully, there were 3 kids waiting when we came, we waited for 4.5 hours. They took one kid each every hour or so. They said the kids section was flat out. 2 of the kids who went in also was seen checked out while we were there but they were still not taking our baby in. I'm 8 months pregnant trying to manage this sick baby. Then they take in a like a 10 year old who came around 2 hours after us, who didnt seem to have any outer physical emergency that needed immediate attention. When we asked how long more we needed to wait they advised they don't know. It's past 10pm already and they can't even ring up the ward and ask how long the wait is.When we questioned why the other kid who came way after us was taken in, she got in to gear and rang them, until then the reception at the emergency refused to do absolutely nothing. They she came apologising and advising a bed will be made ready for my child soon. Don't trust them one bit though, already regret coming here. Not like we had a choice and as a parent of a 18month old who's having such a high temp for so many days there wasn't much choice left to us. Angliss emergency your service is so bad. You need better communication, better attentive staff and some kind of system to gauge the situations.Update: after waiting another 1.5hrs inside the emergency and getting attended by no doctor (now a total of 6hrs with a 18 month old) nearly midnight we decided to leave as my baby, my 8 month old pregnant self and my sick husband (who are all probably suffering from the same infection) were 10 times worse than when we came in. As usual we don't know" was the standard question to every question we asked. The emergency wasn't busy at all and everyone seem to cruise along and only 2 beds with kids. Not sure where all the doctors were. Never will I ever go back to their emergency. I understand most medical staff being under staffed and overworked in hospital

If you have kids, I strongly recommend to attend Angliss Hospital. Their new ward in emergency has a brand new section for kids. Thus there are more resources which focusing on your little ones.

Absolutely horrible! Don’t put yourselves or your children through it- go to Monash emergency if you can. After referral from nurse on call- Waited 3 hours in emergency with my 4month old, just to be told they were full and it would be ‘several hours’ more. Went to speak to receptionist and only THEN was told of the priority clinic (in Bayswater) that I could take him to instead of waiting in emergency. They should have told me this when we arrived! No separate area for childrenNo priority for babiesTiny, dinghy waiting roomJust altogether, miserable.Monash emergency is sooooo much better for kids.

I turned up vis Ambulance at 10am, I was in extreme agony & I had not opened my bladder for over 24 hours. I was put into a bed and left for almost 4 hours rocking and rolling in pain with not even a Dr assigned to me.When a female Dr finally saw me, I told her I had not opened my bladder for 24 brs and I had drunk 6 ltrs of water, been in pain for a week prior on unable to eat. She said 'If you living I will be able to tell in the bladder scan? She finally did a bladder ultrasound and I had 1200ml in it, they can only hold 500ml, at Max 1ltr and it perforate. This place will kill people, almost made my bladder perforate. Now 24 hrs later & I can not eat or drink & I am in agony like a gallstone e attack & throw up if I drink a tiny amount. I have not even been given fluids and I have a Canula in?
