Jacob here,Service was outstanding and just a great team in general working there with a good leader ( Daniel ), really helpful and took their time to explain to me whats happening and really went above and beyond expectations. Would recommend for anyone and their friends/family to service their cars at Automasters Southport. Ive had alot of trouble with my car but they managed to find all the issues and fix them at such a fast rate. Prices were really good and have already referred everyone i know to go there, also a small plus they put a small sticker on your car and if spotted u have a chance to win 500 bucks !!

Don't bring your European car here. Appalling professionalism. We recently serviced our BMW X5 here for the first time and they snapped almost the entire engine partition and did not notify us about the damage or attempt to fix it. Not only is this an absolute professionalism failure, it shows their lack of experience and/or appropriate tools in servicing European luxury cars. The least they could have done was told us they weren't well-equipped to service our vehicle type so we could take it somewhere else, or advise us of the damage after the fact. The fact that they could leave the large segments of our engine partition almost free-moving under the bonnet is ridiculous, especially as it could potentially fully detach while the car is moving and cause further damage or even harm to passengers. This was by no means any small breakage that they could have missed either.They also failed to reset the service date and brake fluid check record in the vehicle computer - another show of their inadequacy in caring for these cars and their owners.

Amazing service and communication about what needs to be done for the trip, and the car felt amazing when I jumped in to drive home. I am very disappointed with this business’s service. I went to this place twice to fix my car’s throttle issue. Paid $500 for a standard annual service including $120 to clean the throttle, however the throttle remained unfixed and my car is still not working properly.I called for a quote as my car has an issue with the throttle. Dan told me it would cost $230 for a standard service and $120 to clean the throttle body. However I ended up paying $500. I wouldn’t mind paying good money for the services I agreed to, however the next day, I realised they didn’t even bother to open up the throttle let alone clean the throttle body. My car still has the same issue after they ‘fixed’ it.I called Dan again to ask them to clean the throttle however Dan refused and claimed that they already cleaned it, then he said that I never mentioned a throttle issue.Eventually after much debate, Dan agreed for me bring the car back and clean the throttle for me.This morning, I brought the car back again to their shop. I wanted to stay with my car to ensure the main throttle issue will be fixed, however for some reason, Dan refused and did not want me to stay. They have a waiting room for their customers, so I don’t understand why they didn’t allowed me to stay. So I ended up leaving with my car.I am very disappointed with this business as I paid them $500 and spent 2 mornings but my car throttle issue still remains. I won’t go back to them anymore as I know my car could have more and more problems if I leave my car with them.If you are considering fixing your car, I recommend you try elsewhere. As they have more interests and skills in selling you something, rather than fixing your car problems.
