Went here for 6 years biggest waste of 6 years i’ve ever had. You voice your mind and they make you go to meetings to apologise for hurting others feelings but reverse rolls and it’s fine. The second cheater peter took control as principal the whole school went down hill. Try and drop out and they will do nothing even if you have an opportunity to move into your desired line of work. Would highly recommend to not sending your child here unless you want to see them waste 6 years of there life.

i agree with ebbles, the taps are greasy, the toliets are artistic and stinky but what disturbed me was the 69 year old man chilling there eating frosted flakes

Been abused by teacher and been fat shamed in front of class. Very immature behaviour of the teacher. Other than that good school

I’m in the Montessori stream, just moved into TC and I am loving it! So laidback but you learn so much. I highly recommend! I don’t know as much about mainstream but it sounds good too. The electives are fun and engaging and the fact that we don’t have to wait till year 9 to get electives is amazing. The Montessori teachers are friendly and accepting and everyone is welcoming and kind.

i moved to TC a couple months ago and i have had a 100% positive experience so far. it is the most supportive, loving, non-judgemental environment. not only in the classroom, but outside the classroom too. teachers are kind but passionate about the work, and all the students have been so welcoming. great facilities too. highly recommend :)

As a former student a terrible school. Removed all subjects I wanted to learn the year I was able to study them. With great eager wanting to study and being told to wait until the next year only to have them sequentially removed. This school gave me a great education in disappointment. Teachers allowing misbehaving students to do as the please with endless amounts of warnings ruining education for those that wanted to learn. A threat on my life by a teacher for reasons I still don't know. I can't believe a place that is meant for education can suppress the curiosity of a child. I learnt more in the years after school than I did at TC. Taking away subjects that children are not able to study at home and forcing them to study subjects such as cooking, history, music, media, drama, sports, computers and having to learn a language that one will never use. Even though I knew another language that was given no recognition. It was just a big day care centre for kids that wanted to play, not for people that wanted to learn. If a student wants to study engineering, you let them. It involves maths, history, reading, science even using a camera for analyses. Let children follow their passion, don't force a curriculum and what is the most profitable for staff. A very brief review, can't mention all here. I think it should be illegal to force a child to attend a place of educational suppression. I did request to leave many times, but the principals had no interest, just a number. I hear a lot now about a lack of engineering and manufacturing in Australia, hmm. I have since learnt that I am actually gifted, but also have social anxiety. I would have thought an adult teacher would question why a child has such discomfort giving a speech to a crowd, not force them repeatedly to do it. An absolute waste of 6 years. I hope it has changed since I attended. To any parent that is reading this, if you can't teach your child basic skills such as cooking, you have no business having children.

Better when Peter Hutton was in charge. Now all about political correctness and way too many students.

Amazing school, supportive and progressive. So good to have a school that really puts students first. Our principal is fantastic, so switched on and in tune with the students. We just adore our teachers and the school environment is really calm and inclusive. The curriculum allows students to learn what they love, parents are expected to be involved with the curriculum and the school journey, which I really enjoy. Can’t recommend TC highly enough - if you have an open heart and mind then this is where your family should be.

Work is practically optional with how little they expect from you.Bullying is not dealt with properly.Male bathrooms are left vandalised and disgusting without much repair.Teachers range from nice or helpful to annoying and condescending.Overall would not recommend unless your some hardcore go getter.
