Honker Burger
This place is under new management. Gary is very welcoming. We dined in. Place is clean, honkie ambience and has a seating capacity of 16 to 20 people. Food was prepared fresh and served well. Ample parking space. Highly recommended. I’d visit again when craving for some good burgers.

I have to give these guys 5 stars. Always enjoyed Honker Burger but under new management - the burgers are even better. The new manager is so lovely and his team are just as great. They put in a lot of effort into the food as well as the service. Been back two weeks in a row. Keep it up guys!

Food was absolutely awesome and top quality ingredients. The staff and management were also awesome and accommodating. This place is under new management and they are definitely putting in the effort to put their best foot forward.I would 100% recommend calling in and giving these guys a go if your looking for a premium American style burger.

The burger at Honker was good but not really memorable. The meat patty wasn’t particularly juicy or flavoursome but the bread was good. Large chips could be bigger for $7.90 and the cookies n cream thickshake was also on the small side. I appreciate that the owner was passionate but in inner Melbourne, burger joints are a dime a dozen and I don’t think Honker compares to many of them. The prices on the menu board aren’t the actual prices which is frustrating. Sure, it might cost a lot to have the menu boards replaced/updated but at least tape (?) the correct prices over the top of the incorrect prices. We paid over $41 for 2 burgers, 1 large chips and a thickshake and I feel that that was far too expensive for what we got.

My partner and I ate here today. Hands down the BEST customer service we've had in a long long time. The food was amazing. Do yourself and your tastebuds a favour and visit. The owner is one of nicest people I've come across.

Canadian visiting Australia and I was in the sunbury area and was recommended to try Honker Burger. Holy smokes can’t even explain the amazing customer service and generosity by the owner Gary!! The quality of these burgers tasted like a classic homemade burger, so fresh and tasty. Definitely one of best experiences I’ve ever had!
