Cashmere Cat Cafe
Such a big space to hang out with the cats. Decor is quite minimalistic. A variety of cat breeds can be seen.

I loved my experience at Cashmere Cat Cafe! It was so fun meeting and petting all the cats. Each cat’s personality really shines through their interactions with you and the other cats and guests. My favourite cat was Wasabi who absolutely loves a tiny coconut ball toy that the cats had actually ripped off one of their palm tree scratching posts. He was carrying that little coconut everywhere and chasing after it - so cute!I think your experience will depend on the cats moods - some are sleepy while others are crazy and playful. Typical cats! Either way, there’s so many kitties to meet so you’ll get to either play, cuddle or just chill out with the gang. The price was $19 for an hour session which I believe was reasonably priced - and you get a soft drink with that too.The guy that welcomed us at the front desk (sorry didn’t get his name) was very friendly and we enjoyed talking to him about Wasabi. If you’re a cat lover like me but can’t get one yourself, or even if you have a cat and just want to see more cats - definitely give Cashmere a visit! You won’t be disappointed.

Cheap and easy to find, enter via reception who was lovely through double door to remove your shoes which was a lil annoying and unexpected to one open room filled with fluffy friends. Beautiful kind kitties with trimmed nails and plenty of space and toys it is just one open room there is a clean bathroom but double check for soap and toilet paper definitely. Overall nice but the cat cafe Melbourne was a much better more involved experience for sure.

Love this no-nonsense Cat Cafe. Clean and doesn't smell. Feels quite spacious; there's plenty of space for the cats to roam which is so important. I like that they don't serve food and drink. The cats are rescues. They are so precious and well-trained. Great way to spend an hour of your afternoon if you want some peace without the responsibility :)

We went more towards the end of the day (7:30pm), so they didn’t sell any food to give to the cats as they were feed at 9pm. As this is my second car cafe I’ve been too, I can’t say my experience was great, but it wasn’t bad by any means. In the photos as you can see, almost all of them Would wait by the glass door and wait for food. It’s nice to observe them lol. Something I’ve also noticed is a lot of them don’t like to be touched, they’ll bend they’re back like a gymnast just to get away from your hand, while the more tired ones seem to not mind pets as much. Nevertheless, it was a nice place to chill and relax watching cats just be cats. You could probably get more of the cats to come to you if you went more earlier in the day and bought snacks from the front counter. Have to say I was salty when I found out I couldn’t buy snacks for them haha.

Lovely experience! All the cats were very friendly. There was a cute little staff only" area for the kitty's to go if they were tired of all the people. The area was well maintained and clean."

I went there with my two year old. She's very gentle and I think she only patted two cats the whole time we were there (under my supervision) plus I would never let her misbehave with any of the cats. If anything she just enjoyed playing with the cat toys (which was not being taken away from any cat). Though I felt she was watched the whole time we were there, which made me quite uncomfortable. She did a little run and squealed twice and I was told to calm her down. I totally understand that you'd think a toddler can't behave around cats, that's why she was being watched, but please set an age limit then. Maybe 4+ would be appropriate?
