Very good lunch specials. $10 each, most amazing Diane sauce I've tasted. Staff is lovely, tables are clean, its hard to beat this place when it comes to a cheap and delicious lunch.

My husband and I went here with a friend.Their ordering system took my money but didn’t process my order the manager fixed that, someone took our order then they still messed it up heaps. Hubby got a dry old snitz & chips not a parmi including sweet potato fries that are extra $ then I waited another 45 minutes for a steak that was meant to be well done, with sweet potato fries so extra $ again, I got a med/rare steak and fries not even any gravy I ordered. My friend then had to chase his meal up as well because he ordered before us. They came to us 3 times to confirm the order & still messed it up proper. We definitely don’t recommend this pub.

The wife and I were there for lunch for the first time a few days ago and had the $12.50 lunch special of a 250g steak, rump I assume with a side of chips and although the sauce was $2.50 extra there was a good choice and a big gravy boat. The salad would have been $5 extra but enough with the add-ons so we skipped salad. Ordered it cooked medium and although it was getting to the end of lunchtime and it wasn't overcrowded, it came out very quickly and the steak was melting in my mouth and the chips were perfectly cooked and the gravy was nice and plentiful. Can't wait to go there again and recommend it to everyone. Thanks Australian Hotel and the staff for a great lunch.

After arriving Australia in 2015 I have tasted schnitzel at many places but hands down this is the place where I have tasted best ever schnitzel. First time we found it by chance, second time we did a stopover here especially just to have it on our way to south coast and third time we planned and stayed in Nowra to relish this❤️

Very old school place. Staff at the bar was not really friendly and helpful. Ordered a burger without tomatoes a and it arrived full of tomatoes and surprisingly with bbq sauce inside that we do not eat and it was not in the menu.Staff from the kitchen at the back was actually nicer and more friendly than the front service and they kindly asked which dressing I would Iike for My salad. Because when I ordered noone asked.The place was not really busy, but we waited for a burger and a salad for a half an hour.The dish is a decent size and it is yumm. However be prepared that it is full of ingredients that are not in the menu.

Support your local businesses……not this one.Tonight we ordered our meal just after 6.30pm. At 8.15pm wait staff finally came to our table to let us know our meals were delayed because one of their kitchen staff had gone home sick. We expected to be told it was the cook who had left…. Nope, it was the dishwashing person… Another table of 12 people were left waiting too. Staff were rude and flippant, all we got was excuse after excuse. Demanded a refund after the meals eventually came out with it being warm, not hot. We have been regulars for over 4 years but since COVID-19 the place is just not the same. Long time before we visit again, if at all.

Not good, The new owner/manager was really rude and it seems if you are under 18 you can't eat even in the dining area, it's a shame I have some good memories of eating there with the family.

Beautiful classic pub atmosphere with scrumptious beers and spirits. The steakhouse does a very reasonable 12.50 lunch special.i got the rump. Havent had a lunch special this good since the early 00's . Could be a pub Or could be a time machine . You decide
