I shopped there twice, I found the staff very helpful.I would have no problem shopping there again.

Went to Clark Rubber Christie's Beach, as it states on line, but guess what?...It's not longer there. Get your act together guys. Update the Web site.It says its open tomorrow etc.. but it's being gutted as I speak

Woman serving was absolutely rude, discriminatory and aggressive to my partner who had a mask exemption and this was BEFORE the borders opened. He was so upset he won't go back, was made to feel like a criminal andnever mind it's also ILLEGAL to discriminate against someone. Extremely disappointing.

Answered all my questions and gave advice. Very happy with service.

If I could give it zero stars I would. Rude and unhelpful staff. The website says 36 months interest free for items $500 and above and they refused and said they don't have to do what's on the website which is blatant false advertising. **After this unpleasant experience, I called the store in Richmond who also had the item I wanted in stock to ask them the same thing about interest free. They asked me to hold while they called their manager. They then replied to me saying they are franchised with the Christie's beach store and that they wouldn't provide interest free either for the $900 pool I wanted to purchase, regardless of what the website says*** I would suggest avoiding both these stores for big purchases. Instead maybe try Saint Mary's as I learned they are not owned by the same people as the Christie's Beach Store and the Richmond store. The 1 star is for the service Steve gave on Friday 13 Jan 2023, he was great and he listened to our problem. He offered a solution that was being followed up.I had to call again the following Monday as our pool had been put up 3 days earlier, on that Friday, with a 12 month old pump purchased at Christies Beach that now doesn't work.Wait for it.....When we got out our receipt, the pump is 1 day outside warranty! Australian Consumer Law is very clear that even 1 day outside warranty is NOT considered outside warranty.In any event, the Manager said on Monday he contacted Intex (the pump manufacturer) and they would provide a replacement pump to be sent to us that will take between 4 - 7 days.I explained to the Manager that pool water that remains unfiltrated goes stagnant and becomes a health risk.We asked if we could come and pick up a new pump today and Intex could give the replacement pump to the store.Simple. Right?? Wrong!The Manager despite knowing that Intex had agreed to replace the pump under warranty, refused to provide us a free one today so that we will not have to empty the pool water and fill it again in a week when the new pump arrives??!! He is quite happy for the high water cost to be ours. When I told him he doesn't care at all, his response was to repeatedly talk over the top of me, forcing me to have to talk over him to ask him to stop and listen. When I did that he told me to 'chill' and told me that I needed to be respectful as he was?????? Sorry what?? The Manager has no comprehension of respectful customer interactions and no skills regarding conflict resolution which is his job.....Christies Beach have lost our business. We will never go back and my phone call was on speaker (the Manager knew this as my husband was speaking after I got nowhere), and my normally 'chill' husband could not believe how rude and passive aggressive this so called 'Manager' was.The number one rule of customer service is 'the customer is always right'. I've been in customer service for 30 years and have been abused many times. I have still NEVER told anyone to 'chill'. When you discover your customer IS ACTUALLY RIGHT, being rude to them will guarantee you lose business and your bad service is talked about to prospective customers.AVOID AVOID AVOID!

Don’t bother visiting this discriminating store. My frail 74 year old father was denied entry a couple of weeks ago. Signs at the door saying mask required. My father has a mask exemption for a respiratory illness and was told we don’t accept mask exemptions, but we can serve you outside, because he couldn’t be bothered going elsewhere due to his medical conditions, he told the shop attendant what he wanted. It was brought out to him then the shop attendant put his grubby hands on his eftpos card, took it inside and put the transaction through!You think it’s ok to treat people like second class citizens based on their health status? Don’t try and say you are following government rules, you may want to research what SA Health website states about masks and exemptions!I will be spreading this discrimination far and wide on social media. Hope you lose money!

If you're thinking about visiting this store... DON'T!!! Let me save you the trouble. They are the rudest, most discriminatory humans I have encountered in quite a while. Let me tell you what happened. I had only just entered the store when I was asked to wear a mask. I politely told the clerk that I have an exemption and proceeded to get it. Even though I was already about a metre inside the shop, I was told that I have to get out until he can site my exemption. I thought this was completely unnecessary considering I was already in the store and about to get it to show him (not that he has a right to ask for my personal medical information but that's beside the point). As I was still getting my exemption, I was rudely asked by an older gentleman where my mask was. Not knowing who this was I asked him who he is and why he has a right to ask me such a question. The clerk told me that he was the owner and the owner started yelling at me to get out of the shop. I said that I had an exemption but he wouldn't hear it and proceeded to yell at me and told me to get out. I was quite happy to leave and I will never EVER shop here again. I will make sure that everyone knows what happened and will tell all my friends, family and anyone that will listen to not shop there either. With everything going on the world, there is absolutely NO EXCUSE for rudeness, especially from a business that supposed to be there to serve the customer.
