Cat & Cow Coffee

Cat & Cow Coffee is a little corner shop cafe in Randwick that is passionate in promoting themselves to be Zero Waste.This concept extends to not using plastics, as well as reusable coffee cups and dine in if you can. During the COVID19 regulations, I’m sure this is very hard, though they are doing a good job! I did grab some takeaway food and like that it came in a recyclable box and wooden cutlery.The menu is simple, but lovely. It boasts avo or eggs on toast, brekkie rolls, smoothie bowls or porridge. My visit was at lunch time and I was keen on the veggie quiche, but unfortunately it had sold out. There was a winter soup or salad so I opted for the salad. It was a rocket salad, with fresh beets, chickpeas, hummus and goats cheese. It was light and fresh and super delicious but just quite small for $16, and given there isn’t a major protein to fill you up, it would be great to be a bit bigger.They do also have sandwiches, pastries, and little power cubes (gluten free and vegan raw snacks).The coffee is by black market roasters which we like, and I enjoyed my latte, served in a huskee cup. If coffee isn’t your thing, there’s smoothies, milkshakes, fresh juice and kombucha as well as turmeric, beetroot and lattes.They also have some shelves in the window selling WOW soap bars - war on waste and coffee related goods.We love that the cafe is environmentally conscious. Service is super friendly and efficient so it’s a comfortable place to dine.

I went there sometime and I loved the coffee and friendly staff. I am barista too and I am impressed with the test of this coffee. My experience was great and will visit again . Great team and amazing food.

Really nice little cafe tucked away on one end of Clovelly road, so it's quiet and more personal. Many vegan options, but the brekkie roll is a must have, as well as the Cat and Coffee smoothie. Service is friendly and there are about 8 small tables (inside and out). Coffee is the highlight of course. Will definitely come back!

Stopped in for brunch after an appointment nearby. Ordered the Cat & Coffee shake, Chai Latte, quiche and mushroom toastie.Staff was very nice and friendly however the cost vs quality/quantity of food definitely left alot to be desired.The quiche was quite a small serving for the price (half the size of the sandwich, and almost same price) and the mushroom toastie had mainly just a hummus taste. The prana chai was decent but the cat & cow smoothie again left a lot to be desired, especially at $12.50.Overall, it’s a nice shop on the corner with friendly staff, and seemed to have a good amount of regulars, but just not the place for us.

Coffee is great. Cute welcoming cafe and lovely service staff. Definitely going back.

did a job in randwick for 3 days. was a fluke finding this on the first morning. but made sure I went back next day. coffee was awesome. sadly it shuts early. found out the hard way. missed them on day 3.
