Very bad customer service. I received the wrong parts for my trampoline and 2 weeks later I’m still trying to resolve the problem as customer service is very unhelpful and will just tell you to email them

My partner and I purchased a spin bike(JMQ Fitness S500). The resistance dial was inoperative i.e. no amount of turning would change the resistance, the seat was also welded onto the upright at a crooked angle. We disassembled the bike and packaged it up exactly as it was shipped and dropped it off at Sports leisure and requested a refund, we also emailed documentation of the faults. After several weeks we were told the bike was assessed by a “technician” and there was nothing wrong with it. We were issued a refund minus 10% restocking fee. Below is cut and pasted from the ACCC’s website.When a business sells a product with a major problem, or a product that later develops a major problem, it must give the consumer the choice of a refund or a replacement of the same type of product.A business must not deduct an amount from a refund to take into account the use a consumer has had of the product. A refund should be the full amount the consumer paid for the product.Now I personally feel that a resistance dial on a spin bike is an important feature and a resistance dial that spins and spins without adjusting resistance is unequivocally a major defect.Oh by the way if you visit the Smithfield store they will ask you to write a positive Google review in exchange for spinning a prize wheel.I feel this removes any credibility from their positive reviews.I really do hope this helps someone make an informed decision.Steve
