A great walk with some good elevation to get you huffing and puffing! Please note there is some rock scrambling and you need to pay close attention to the yellow markers if you're hiking.The final steep scramble to the top is a little confronting alongside the cliff. Winds can be much stronger at the top than even a hundred meters down.This is really fun to do. Not appropriate for children.There are also rock climber routes up Taipan Wall - the face of the mountain which look fantastic!

One of the most interesting, stunning, yet underated walks in Grampians. Shoes with good grip recommended as some rocky parts could be slippery. Some sections are bit hard to navigate but just look for and stick to the yellow markers you'll be fine.

Great hike for mountain enthusiasts. The rock gets a bit steeper towards the summit, but it offers great views of the surrounding peaks and nearby towns.

I can recommend to hike on top of Mount Stapylton. It is such a beautiful hike and stunning scenery, not only from the top. You start the hike on a volcanic rock formation, followed by beautiful areas with lots of bushes, grass and flowers. You need to be fit to reach the top, but not overly fit. It's absolutely worth it. Use appropriate footwear.

If you're aiming for the top of Mt Stayplton follow the yellow markers, they then change to red markers just below the summit.

Absolutely fantastic walk, beautiful rock formations and views. Would recommend to anyone who loves a good walk.
