Beautiful forested walks with bbq area, clean toilets, saw mill remnants, and just a nice drive on the way. The fog is actually smoke from recent Bunyip fires. Nice relaxing walks with creeks. See if you can spot a crayfish.

Beautiful forest, tree ferns galore, tall trees (one is 300 years old!) birds, toilets, picnic tables (no gas or electric bbqs). Some more challenging walks for experienced hikers, but plenty of easy walks too.

Beautiful park with well maintained tracks, signs and info boards. Lots of interesting wildlife, though little remains of the historical mills. The beauty of the park does however contrast starkly with the surrounding cleared and eroded farmlands, making a sad illustration of how much destruction has occurred over the generations.FYI good map is available on Avenza app.

Beautiful walks. Lots of trees and treeferns, including some huge trees. Waterfalls are pretty. Might see lyrebirds if you are quiet and patient. I have also seen deer in the park, and snakes in summer. There are picnic tables and public toilets at the carpark.Be aware that the tracks, particularly the Moonlight Creek track and the tracks to the Waterfall Bower can be very muddy and slippery.Still some signs of the old saw mills that used to operate in the area in the 1920's.

Spent nearly 3hrs walking here. The Giant circuit was pretty easy. You get to see a lot of ferns and plants, also birds and fungi, some historical sites and items. We then went off to see the waterfall. It was a lot harder to walk through. You can tell not many visitors have taken this path for a while. There were a lot of falling branches and tree trunks covered the ground. We also encountered couple of snakes but there were shy away. It took us about 1 hour to get to the waterfall bower from the Mill path. We wanted to continue to the top but was blocked by overgrown bushes and fallen trees. Wouldn’t recommend the route if you are not experienced. Overall it’s a nice spot for a walk, lots of greenery and coverage.

The drive via Hazeldean road sets you up for a nature's treat ahead. Green, fresh air and clean natural environment. Quite a few trails (terribly slippery, muddy and treacherous with leeches) during the wet season but fun if you enjoy the adventure. The trails are mostly easy with a couple of them slightly challenging.

Beautiful trail, I did with my buddies. Need moderate fitness level to walk steeply. The trail is muddy and slippery. The park provided ropes to hold at slippery places.Carry an extra pair of clothes and crocs. No rubbish bin, take trash with you.Gravel road for 3-4 km close to park, narrow road.

Carpark and toilets here are quite good, no drop toilets like many state parks. Quite a nice picnic area around the carpark. I went for hiking, there a couple of waterfalls listed as being around these hiking tracks however the good one is using the track starting from the right side of the carpark which will take you to the Moonlight Creek waterfall. The track to the falls starts off quite well maintained but as you get closer to the waterfall it becomes overgrown with grass in some places. We then continued on from the waterfall to complete a longer hike, this part of the track was mostly overgrown. It was clear enough where the track was but with many fallen trees and having to push our way through the ferns. There was a second waterfall signposted but it was nothing more than a trickle of water, there was a pathway that essentially went straight where the flow of water would be and if there was enough rain to make these falls flow then I suspect you would also need to get your feet wet to make it along the path. Because there are so many fallen logs along the longer hike, we inevitably were forced to navigate an encounter with a brown snake, with no mobile reception in the area I would ensure you are prepared with a first aid kit just in case.

Lots of walking options for all abilities. Waterfall Bower track is challenging but worth it. Hint: hiking poles kept me from sliding down steep muddy track!
