Bridgefield Guest House
We enjoyed a nice stay in the Champagne room upstairs with verandah and spa bath. Loved the old charm and detail. A nice fresh coat of paint is all the place needs to make all the old pieces pop and not look so dated. Great part of town to walk the Main Street and beautiful river walks to the side. Felt like the common areas in the guesthouse was all to ourselves as there is only 3 rooms. Great value for money. From Hobart.

What a cute little place! My husband and I stayed in the Forrest View Suite for 6 nights and loved it. Fantastic for couples looking for a romantic getaway. The whole suite was neat, clean and very charming. The room itself got quite cold overnight but the electric blanket worked a treat. The kitchen was fabulous and we were able to cook full meals when we didn't feel like going out. The location is excellent and everything on the main street is within walking distance. The restaurants next door are both lovely but the staff do like to hang around after work, so be aware that there may be some noise in the evening. Overall we loved our stay here and will definitely be coming back.

Great place to stay in Margaret River. We stayed in The Cabin which was spacious and clean. I love the charm! The Cabin also has a kitchenette, which we didn't use too much but would be lovely for a family. There are plenty of bars and restaurants in walking distance. There is free on-site parking.

Kinda hard to write a review when they won't even let you book because you have kids. No asking how old they are, just assuming they (my young school age kids!) would be crying all night and disturbing their restaurant patrons. How. Lovely. I would NOT recommend for families to even enquire here.

We stayed in the cabin which was excellent value and quite quirky. It had a separate kitchenette and private entrance and patio. On the ground floor with Little French doors, very private and secluded even though it was right beside the car park.All wood panelled just like a cabin of an old ship. Also very reasonably priced, it was quite the experience.We used the outdoor BBQ one night to cook local Marrron lobster and lamb, and then ate on the outdoor setting.Also nearby is a very nice shady tree lined river walk.

A very unique and quirky place, however bathroom Taps leaky, shower recess had tiles lifting , refrigerator froze all salads and fruit and mattress uncomfortable.Location good....a short stroll to coffee shops, supermarket and take away food outlets . There was no service, so I did not give this a star rating. Overall, disappointing.

We upgraded to a spa bath room to be told on arrival it wasn’t working properly and a part was on order.The bathroom needs a complete clean. Vent on the bath, filthy, mould on the ceiling , blind over the basin splattered with toothpaste, heater lamp , only one globe working, cold water tap missing the C, window above the toilet won’t lock.Curtains on doors to balcony held onto the pole with wire and couldn’t cover the doors.Free parking but we couldn’t use it as restaurant patrons filled it.Needs to be gated and designated bays. We parked both nights on the street hoping our car wouldn’t be vandalised .I have photos if required.The email address comes up invalid which forces me to complain here.Very disappointing , the cleaning and maintenance can be very easily solved.

Interesting hotel. Rooms in main house had clean bed and bathroom however, the walls and main communal areas were dirty, with dust, spiderwebs and mould. Also, due to the two restaurants in the same hotel, it was very noisy until late at night. Confusing reception across the street.
