Had my eyes tested and prescription hadn't changed. Thought I would get a cheap extra pair to use my health fund entitlement of $200. Expressly said MANY times that I was a student and needed my glasses for laptop use. Eventually was told I would have to pay $62 gap. Ok then. Took 3 weeks and when I picked them up they were terrible. Turns out they had been made as reading glasses in spite of my saying over and over that they were for laptop use. I had been assured that if they weren't right they would be fixed at no charge but I WAS charged an extra $70. So a total of $132! When I said I didn't want to be out of pocket AT ALL. If I'd known it would be that much I wouldn't have got them. And the lenses are nowhere near as good as my last ones so it was a complete waste of money.Agree that they need to supply quotes and guarantees in writing. I will not be going back.

Today charged in excess of $100 above verbally quoted gap fee. Strongly recommend any quotes be obtained in writing. Any wonder Eyelines NOT a Medical Benefits preferred optometrist.Warner Wood.
