Sliced Detroit Pizza Redfern

This was the best pizza I have ever eaten. Will be again when in the area.If you haven’t tried you are missing out

Is this actually Detroit-style pizza, at all? No. Detroit's pizza is unmistakeable for the toasted crown of cheese that covers the entire edge of its deep, rectangular base, and the layer of rich tomato sauce poured over the too.While this joint gets the shape right, it skimps on the cheese to the point that the edges are completely bare, rather than sporting the crisp, cheesy, golden-brown crust of a true Detroit-style. The final dash of sauce drizzled over the top is also left by the wayside. What we get instead is a dry slice that's barely above the standard of a frozen one.Also, while it doesn't affect the food at all, the lame puns plastering every wall makes you feel a little embarrassed to be eating there.Depending on what you order, though, you can still end up with a pretty tasty chunk of bread and toppings. The Bacon & Ranch is a whack of creamy, mustardy chicken that barely qualifies as pizza, but is the pick of the bunch.So, okay for a quick slice when you're in a rush, but realistically worse (and worse value) than the Domino's just down the road.

just a few minutes walk from Redfern train station.pizza are freshly made.. ordered small size at 8 dollars and a can of Pepsi at 3 dollars. not bad for a snack.

The pizza is good, but the customer service!! Oh the service.As I walk in, I notice my waitress with an airpod in... pretty strange but i'll let it slide right? As my brother orders, he points to what he wants on the menu, little did he know that the margarita is directly above the garlic fingers. As our order arrives, we notice something different, something that wasn't supposed to be there. I return to the waitress while my brother waits outside and I ask, kindly sorry but we ordered a margarita"She turns to me

The lady in the front was so friendly. she seems like nepalese.she help with our ordes as we were confused and didn’t have much idea about pizza. the pizza was also very tasty.

Pizza is plain and boring, not the worst I have had but not good for the price

This was the best pizza I have had in my 31 years of living in Australia. I normally thought I liked a thin and crispy crust but this was amazing. Lots of toppings and I will be coming back for sure

Regardless of what kind of pizza I ordered (Hula hula). The dough was a major turn off. It was very light in texture. The pizza sauce was dry and all I can taste was the drizzled BBQ sauce. Not impressed at all. Probably one of the lowest quality pizzas I've ever had. If you can't get the basic components of a pizza right then, it's hard to get repeated customers.

Pros:Perfect location just beside Redfern station. Price is good for a quick bite. Open till late so that's a plus point. Staffs are agile and quick in service. Taste of veggie pizza was good. Overall a good place to eat.Cons:Nothing
