After 20 years of buying Timber from The Old Mill, I was shocked when my friend went to pick up Timber I had ordered to be machined. The office lady was extremely rude and after being accused of scamming, my friend persuaded her to actually look for the wood. It was soon found and he was told to take it and get out. No apologies. Unbelievable rudeness.Shocking. Will never return till the For Sale business" changes hands."

Dont get involved with these people !!! Anthony and his wife are toxic and the timber is terrible quality... Plus they use fake reviews !! no wonder they are selling

Have been using the old mill timberyard for many years now and have always had an excellent experience in terms of customer service and product delivery. The range of timber that they stock, particularly their Australian hardwoods, is fantastic and their pricing is always very competitive. If I am trying to source a specialist product for a job and they don’t happen to stock it, they always go above and beyond to source for Me. This business is an asset to the region.

Awful experience, have dealt with them in the past a few times. Never again.Called to arrange the ripping of some beams I had called on the previous Friday, sent an email in writing and had a phone call back confirming it was Ok. Was told I could wait 1/2 hour while it was done, drove all the way there (1 hour 1 way )on Monday to have the urgent work done only to be met by the owner saying we won’t do that here. You shouldn’t have been told that.Then she tried to tell me why I couldn’t do it anyway. Bloody inconvenient and wasted time we all don’t have.I’ve got 24 years experience in Detailed timber Joinery, I don’t need your advice.Good timber in general but your attitude will do me thanks.Wish there was an option to leave no stars.See ya!

Stuffed up the order for 3 days and left me picking up the tab. Also, they didn't want serve me 5 minutes before closing time. Had to go back the next day. What a waste of time. Very unprofessional.
