Holiday Inn Sydney St Marys, an IHG Hotel

Excellent clean rooms. Quite comfortable. Breakfast, although not included in the room rate, was real good value at an extra $25.

Was visiting the Leagues Club on the same grounds as the hotel and sighted various Holiday Inn personnel walk out with food without a cover, just holding it in their hand walking through the Club, then walking outside back to the Hotel. I would be very concerned if this was for a Holiday Inn client who ordered room service!! I am sure there is a more appropriate way of transporting the food, i.e. placing covers on the plate, using warmers etc and not walking with an open plate through the Club!

Friendly reception, ample parking space. New, clean and big bedrooms. Nearby to a McDonald's for convenient bite. Only downside it is a bit far from the highway. Otherwise it will be perfect

We had terrible experience there especially for customer service. The Asian girls on duty treated as third works citizens. She was so rude that it became difficult to converse with her as she was continuously raising her voice in a very uncivilised way and would not let you talk.When paying for rooms for 2 nights I requested to include breakfast as this was more economical option for 4 of us. But the staff on duty (Emma) said you can pay it at the restaurant and it will be the same price changed on my credit card. But when we went to the restaurant they turned us back saying it would cost us extra $150 during our stay. At that point I called Emma back and she said sorry it was a mistake and because we didn’t pay for breakfast inclusions at the time of paying for rooms in advance they won’t be able to change it. I called this customer service and they just did the sugar talks promising we’ll be looked after then transferred to some other department. That did the same ensuring this will be sorted and we’ll soon get a call for resolution. But it was a call back from this Asian girl at the reception rudely talking to us.Next day they didn’t clean our room, never attended to the broken exhaust fan. we actually had to let the room open in the morning for fresh air.No apology when we checked out. No follow up despite my writing the long email.Also one of the hotel pictures shows a girl on a tube slide. That photo actually is for wet n wild water park in Sydney and the put it on their website to attract customers. They don’t even have a pool let alone the slides.Overall terrible experience. Never going back

The room is very overpriced with Vomiet stains from the lift to my room all over the room floor, advised staff, and all I got was we will have a look no staffed addressed the issue not happy due to having to wear shoes due to due the vomiet stains all over the room .
