Mary MacKillop College

This school has been a great school for my daughter. The new Principal is amazing and has focussed on getting good academic rigour in the school. Besides academia there is great focus ont he arts and sports. The teachers are amazing and the the school atomosphere is one of positivity and happiness. The changes that we have seen within this school since our daughter started (more than 5 years!) has been amazing and full credit goes to the change of management, the new principal and the very dedicated team of teachers for steering Mary Mackillop College in the right direction. We only wish well for this school. I would not hesitate to recommend this school as one the very best in north side. Have no further doubts!

Do not bother with this school if you are looking for a school that takes a special interest in a student with any medical /psychosocial problems. They lack the capacity to understand the need for specialised care and education. They also more of a multi denominational school not Catholic.

Best girls school in Brisbane!Well done to the principal Christene Clark. It is a touge gig. However she is amaizing. Sets the standard high and does not faulter. Best choice we ever made for our daughters. Thank you for the opportunity to join your outstanding 'tribe'.

Having lived around the area for many years I felt always impressed at how well behaved the students were and how they conducted themselves in public in contrast to some of the neighbouring schools. My daughter now attends this school and I've been more than well pleased with how she has performed academically to date. MMC appears to have created a very positive learning environment for her and without a doubt its due to the hard work of both the teachers and students. They might not have the flashiest facilities, but they have already have all the equipment needed to provide the students with a solid educational foundation which I'm sure will prepare them well for their future lives.

It's a great school. The teachers are all friendly, and care about the students work. If the students are willing to get help the teachers are all willing to help. The atmosphere of the school is close and friendly. The students are willing to learn in and outside of the classroom and have a great attitude towards learning. The senior cohort of 2015 is by far the best grade in the school and the attitude they have towards their school is a great demonstration for all of the younger grades to follow.

I went to this school and all they care about is looks rather than education. I’ve seen many schools and private catholic ones allow students to explore themselves more by wearing a little Jewellery, soft makeup and to wear neutral nail polish l, wear as I was trying to learn and the teacher made me go all the way to the office and take off my very light peach colour off my nails. Otherwise than that most girls come out of that school very well behaved and respectful…

It has been the best decision we ever made sending our daughter to this school. She is really happy to go to school now. We cannot fault it in any way. She is growing into a well adjusted young woman thanks to the teachers & staff at the school. The principal is a wonderful & kind lady. So happy we made the decision to send our daughter to this school.

Going to this school had been one of the best choices I and my family had made! It's everything a growing woman needs...love, support, empowerment and hospitality! The teachers were always willing to help and encouraged students to strive for the best results that they were capable of. All my teachers were passionate about educating the girls and their passion rubbed off onto us. The teachers were very personable and approachable which made learning and assessment all that more easier and enjoyable. I have become such a better person from attending Mary Mackillop College...being Justice Captain really helped me to come out of my shell that little bit more and being one of the major captaincy roles (Justice is a major part of the school community), I got to first handedly experience the girl's passion for making the world a better place. MMC has taught me to accept people no matter their social class, culture, likes, dislikes and opinions. It has taught me the importance of community, humanity, resilience, courage, love, support, compassion and embrace. Every one is ONE at Mary Mackillop College. I will always be a proud MMC girl!!!

The teachers at this school have no life they constantly look for the slightest thing wrong and pick on you THEY ARE NOT HERE TO SUPPORT YOU, teachers at this school only want to tear you down and make your life miserable!!!! DO NOT GO HERE terrible school can’t wait to leave xx

Our daughter is so happy, beautiful friends, and feels part of a lovely community. She is highly motivated to succeed and is encouraged by wonderful, supportive, enthusiastic teachers. Thank you Mary Mackillop College.
