Shane is an excellent instructor, very knowledgeable and lots of experience. It was my first time doing martial arts but he made me and others in the class feel very comfortable. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic place to learn functional martial art. I really like the confidence that my son is getting from coming to class regularly. I personally like the way Shane engages the kids and builds discipline while being playful and fun.

Fantastic club which I highly recommend.I have only been training a couple of months but I have enjoyed every minute of it.The instructors have a wealth of martial arts knowledge covering numerous styles and systems.They teach a blend of these very effective techniques with a focus on self defence rather than competition. There are no flashy moves but rather techniques that work and are designed to help keep you safe on the street.All of the instructors are very friendly and keen to pass on their knowledge, any questions you have on a particular technique are explained thoroughly to ensure you have a thorough grounding in it.It is a very family focused club with no macho types, just a great bunch of people keen on learning solid self defence skills and helping each other to learn.The first two classes are free so head on down and try a class, you wont be disappointed.RegardsPaul

I have trained with Shane for a number of years now and wouldn't consider training anywhere else. The club has a great family type atmosphere with no egos.The instructors and in particular Shane, are first rate.They posses a great deal of martial arts knowledge and skill. I only wish I had started training there sooner, a first rate club.

I've done many different styles of martial arts over many years and found Shane's corporate training sessions to be fun, practical and I learnt a lot. I would definitely recommend Australian Freestyle Combat to others.

Great place to learn a myriad of of skills and disciplines from Shane and his friendly team. And a great work out too. If you are serious about getting into martial arts or want to do it purely for fitness Etana is the place to go. Wether you are experienced or beginner you are made to feel welcome.
