Highly disappointing.We recently moved back into the area and decided to try out the local Tavern on a Saturday night.My husband ordered the wings, and I ordered a Chicken Parmy.The wings were terrible, they were super dry like they'd been reheated in the microwave 3-4 times over.The Parmy was also terrible, the chicken tasted somewhat odd however it was suffocating in cheese so endured being as hungry as I was I felt it would be fine eating at an Aussie pub with half decent reviews... I also didn't want to send the meal back as they weren't the friendliest bunch.Oh but I wish I had! Unfortunately I ended up getting food poisoning, the worst kind where it strips you of all your dignity... Lets just say I won't be eating any chicken for a long time.I contacted them via their Facebook Page the next day to let them know but unfortunately there was so response from them.Thanks alot Chancellors Tavern for an terrible and unforgettable experience definitely won't be recommending this place to anyone.

I’ve know the chancellor for years, what chancellor has done is nothing short of absolutely amazing. The food is out of this world delicious. Chancellor has come a long way. There is no fault with anything. Absolutely amazing.

Family birthday dinner with kids. Music was fantastic. Lots of activities for the kids. New renovations are amazing so completely in awe with the decor. Service was great.Food was very staggered no one at our table got to eat at the same time despite ordering at the same time. Food was bit hit and miss with flavour, also not very GF friendly. Really liked the food and beverage ordering app, worked really well.

Great local place we always come to enjoy great fresh meals always good prices and excellent service. Everyone always enjoys their meals. I had the linquini biosciola pasta with mushrooms it was so delicious I highly recommend this place!

Beautiful atmosphere, popular seniors options, but unfortunately the service is quite slow and on multiple occasions we had mixed up orders, and they couldn't provide simple things like an iced chocolate, nor thickshake. That said, their chef does a great job of the meals, very tasty. Fish and chips was great both times, the specials were a little on the small portion side, but kid's meals were consistently a hit. Great outdoor environment and facilities. We would recommend this place overall, but hopefully their staffing issues improve.

Visited for mid-week lunch. Plenty of available car spaces in the mixed parking lot.The interior is clean and modern but sparsely decorated. There is a large restaurant area, lovely outdoor area, sports bar and Pokie room.Staff are friendly and we were quickly greeted and seated before being presented with menus.Order and pay at the counter and food was delivered to the table. Drinks are pay and pick up from the bar.Meals were okay, not fab. Garlic bread was more ‘soaked in liquid butter and warmed’ than toasted. My salad was mostly yellowed leaves which I didn’t eat much of but my lunch date enjoyed his fish and chips.Drinks were cold, prices reasonable.

Highly recommended. The Tavern has really improved. The food is amazing. We also used their venue for recent engagement party. The platters were fantastic especially the sliders. Thank you to Jamie fie making sure all ran smoothly andcto Mia for looking after the guests on the night

We had a booking for 9.30am, were told upon arrival that the buffet would finish at 10am, which we were not aware of, and found it very rude they would let us book a sitting for that time. The food was old and cold, and had been sitting out for ages. There were no bowls for the granola and cereal. Pancakes were cold and tasted like rubber, as did the eggs and bacon. There were no pastries, and what was left tasted like 3 day old muffins from Woolworths. Was extremely disappointed in the Mother’s Day buffet, especially for $40 per person. There was also a complete lack of service from staff. Will not be returning.
