I've been here a couple of times and have been disappointed. The charcoal chicken is much like woollies chicken, no flavour. The lamb was ok but the gravy wasn't good. The chicken wings are much the same as your average servo. The price is too expensive for what you get.

I got a creamy potato and it was no word of a lie, hardly cooked potato and just cream. It had no flavour, no cheese, just cream. I had to go home and actually out cheese, olive oil and salt to give it some sort of flavour. Bloody joke

The food is okay as long as you understand that it's priced at a premium for what you get.What is extremely irritating is their online app for ordering (or ordering via website). Regardless if you order online during a busy peak period of quiet time it's likely that no one will actually start preparing your order when you put it in. Instead 10-15mins after ordering you will arrive at the store you will see people walk up to the counter and order the exact same thing that you ordered 15mins ago online and they will walk out with their food before you.If you do order online or through the app make sure to immediately go to the counter and ask for your food so that they can start preparing it (which defeats using the app anyways). Otherwise you will probably be waiting indefinitely.This applies to simple orders like a whole chicken and large chips, etc.. basic stuff and all paid for in advance using the app.

I had a burger and it was good but nothing amazing unfortunately. The store is certainly well presented and food looks great. Good amount of seating. The register really is in the wrong spot though, as it was a little cramped and blocked from people getting condiments so really needs a rethink to work better. Each time I've been people are confused where to stand to lineup to order, or to know who has already ordered. It's weird as you take a number before ordering, but then they don't use that to call out your order when it's ready, which proved to be confusing and inefficient. Also suggest a rethink of this system.Apart from that the BBQ chicken looked amazing so would love to go back and try one with some salad.

Attended in the afternoon for a snack. Ordered a small chips and devil wings". The wings were not even remotely spicy. Perhaps they were walked past the chilli section in the supermarket but that's as close to spicy as they were. They also had a weird aftertaste and weren't super hot. The chips took a long time to come out; even though there a ton of staff there. The chips were hot but a bit undercooked

Had lunch with my colleagues here today. Terrible beef cheeseburger. Hard to chew, uncooked and really bad taste. Filled only with lettuce and did not have any sauce. When I asked some sauce they wanted to charge me for it! Never again. So disappointing.Chips was good but overpriced for that size.

Mmmm Chargrill Charlie’s French’s Forest. The restaurant is very clean and modern looking. Food is relatively pricy although is well worth it as you would go here for quality chicken / etc. Double Thickshakes are possibly the thickest i’ve ever had, so thick you can not drink it through the straw! Very tasty and presented nicely. The restaurant has an overall aesthetic and trendy vibe. Would definitely revisit, food was superb.
