My daughter has recently started occasional care at selby Community House. The staff are extremely caring and considerate of her needs. Highly recommend this lovely Care for your little ones.

Selby Community House
Actually, I didn't go here the other day, I was passing nearby; but seeing the Google photos just prompted some seriously deep memories of playing here as a child to resurface. It's been at least 23 years, and child memories are unreliable, so I don't know how accurate this review is now; but I am pretty sure I had a grand and interesting time here as a toddler. I hope others are building similarly good quality memories here these days too.

Many years ago I taught a class at Selby Community House and had my daughter at the caring occasional child care. I know the place well. It is an amazing community venue for all sorts of reasons. I attend botanical watercolour classes now which are amazing and recently hired the house for a 50th Bday Party. You get the full kitchen which was perfect for Caterers to use for our party. We comfortably had 85 guests adult's and kids, as well as a 3 piece band. Access to a large TV for a little digital photo presentation. Can't recommend this place enough.

Selby Community House
Yes, Selby Folk Club is back and what a great 1st night after lockdown. Michael Waugh and Grand Baxter with their very talented accompanying musicians made for a very special night of 1/4/22. On once a month it is a very well run folk club. It's a bit hidden away for those who are not familiar with the area, and parking can be difficult on a very busy night.

My daughter loves the childcare there, making the drop off a breeze. The mosaic class with Belinda is awesome and I have made friends in there for life. I have thoroughly enjoyed getting involved with the house and all that it offers including the new Grow Free cart. Tracey is genuine, kind, caring and puts in 200% and Suzie is wonderfully kind and accommodating and also puts in 200%... Nothing is ever a trouble and I couldn't rate this entire venue/home enough.....be sure to check it out for yourselves.
