I can see why this restaurant is a local favourite! There is SO much on offer! Breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks or desserts, there's sure to be something for everyone. Bookings are highly recommended - we neglected to book and waited about 30 minutes for a table. Those that did were seated immediately by comparison. The staff were very professional and had a really good system of doing things. From ordering to bring served was about 40 minutes... Pretty good given that it was a busy night. Highly recommended!!

Wait staff seemed very slow with taking food and drink orders. Food took way too long to come out. Tasted nice when it finally did come out, but the price seemed steep for what was ordered. Kacy's is ok to dine at, but bring people who hold a good conversation so the wait doesn't seem so bad.The aquarium was the highlight of the night.

Dinner with their new three course menu. Catered to my dietary with ease. Best meal I have had in a long time. Great drinks and service too.

They have just reopened. 3 course set menu. Great meals, perfectly timed between each meal. Very helpful staff. The only thing letting this place down is cheap blurry printed menus.

Environment is not exceptional and seems to get easily hot using ceiling fans. Food was bellow mediocre. Ordered a fish burger and the works burger. Both were greezy and the chips more brownish that they should be. The coffee quite watery. Staff tried certainly its best and was attentive, but it didn't make any genuine friendly impression. However, Kacy's location is great, in the heart of Bargara and with a good oceam view. Maybe with a bit more effort in the kitchen, it could improve to be a second visit worth.

Popped in for dessert and was pleasantly surprised with the choices and reasonable pricing. Breakfast, lunch and dinner menu and looked appealing and reasonably priced. A few fish tanks in the restaurant area which are very clean with lots of different fish and coral. A lovely fireplace inside on the balcony

Excellent staff. Good menu.Sadly the meats, pork belly and lamb, were very overcooked. Will return but stress we expect succulent meats. Rest of menu delicious.

This was the worst restaurant on our trip through Australia so far. Even though the pictures might look nice, the bread wasn’t fresh at all and hard as stone. I’d rather feed the birds than eating it again. The waiter messed around with our order and we needed 3 attempts to finally get what we ordered.For 30-50% less money on what they charged us for, I’d say: “Okay, that’s it.”. But for the price you pay, you don’t even get quality close.The one star I have to give goes to the dessert from the daily menu. That was actually tasty. The rest was average to bad.Oh: Don’t try the beers there. We had three different and had to admit: all disgusting! ... (Sorry, European writing here.)

Thought we would give the new menu a shot and glad we did. The food was great and flavourful. The timing we waited between meals was good and the service was awesome. Only thing I will say is I’m a Sydney sider and the price we paid is normal to me especially with a nice beach view however if they want more customers and local foot traffic I would be looking at the price. Was $89 p/p set menu

It's a fancy restaurant, the food prices here was pretty up there for bargara. In saying that I got the 200gram steak medium done, with mash and a side of gravy and a side of mushrooms and spinach. The meat doesn't come with anything other than 2 tablespoons of mash. I had eaten a similar sort of meal in Gympie for 32 and it was loaded with mash and veges and free gravy!Anyway, the steak - very fatty piece and the fat hadn't been rendered so it was difficult (chewy and cold to eat). The steak was good but again could have been cooked slightly longer or had the inedible fat chopped off. The gravy was supposed a based of a red wine jus but again lacked flavour, and the mash was bit gluey. The spinach and mushroom side also lacked flavour and was a bit greasy. The Malbec was delicious and very cheap at 8/9 a glass - wish they'd invest in a proper red wine glass. I also ordered the creme brulée which was really tasty! And I'd recommend that.I saw people ordering fish so that may have been the way to go. Oh well! Total price was $56-60.
