Great to have a place open late (till 3am). Recommend the lava cake though would have been better if it was warmer. Looking forward to trying the crumble next time.

I'm an UberEats delivery rider. I came to pick up the food for the customer and was told to wait as the food wasn't ready. I was told by the mid-aged female staff to go wait outside in freezing cold, and towards which I showed full understanding because I did not want to overcrowd the space. After waiting for at least 15 minutes outside, I went in to ask if I could use their washroom but to my surprise I was denied by the same female staff saying it was for customers only. Such a shame she failed to realise that I was someone who was delivering their food to customer and helping their business. I advice customers to be CAUTIOUS before dining here. What kind of food would they be making if they treat delivery person like trash?

I love Maisys, I love that it's always open, really chilled vibes & always has nice food/meals/drinks/desserts/coffee on offer. The staff are really welcoming. Love taking my friends there.

Greeted by a friendly lady upon arrival who offered water, to which we happily accepted. I had a chicken parmigiana (it does NOT come with chips like in the photo) and my mother had a burger which came with chips and sauce.Was really hoping to see some chips or salad/veggies with the parmigiana, but it didn't matter too much because it was very filling.Wait was a little bit long but it was certainly worth it in the end. We also shared an apple crumble that was very nice because it was not too sweet nor too savoury, and the pastry was really nice too.Nice big range of options from the menu and the waiters and waitresses were very attentive and helpful. It is definitely quite expensive but I think it was worth it. Overall, really nice dinner!

So good to have such a gem open late. Food is always so yummy, pastas are both great. Chips are meh. But the desserts are where it is really at, especially thw warm chocolate cake. Sticky date is also to die for. Service is always very friendly and reasonably prompt despite it getting very busy at times. Coffee is okay, relatively good.

I used to be a regular customer at this cafe, but my recent experience has left a sour taste in my mouth. I was shocked to learn that they have a policy of having a minimum order limit to dine in, which was never enforced before. It seemed like the waitress was having a bad day and wanted to make it bad for us as well. There were 2 of us but only one of us wanted a coffee, but they wouldn’t serve us unless both of us order. The restaurant was 90% empty. I am extremely disappointed with their policy of having a minimum order limit to dine in, even when the place was completely empty. I found it to be an extremely unreasonable and unnecessary requirement, which made me feel unwelcome and unappreciated as a customer.It's understandable that cafes and restaurants need to make a profit, but this kind of policy feels like a money-grabbing tactic that puts the interests of the business over the comfort and convenience of the customers. The fact that they enforce this rule even when there's no shortage of seating or customers is even more frustrating and shows a lack of consideration for their patrons.Overall, I would not recommend this cafe to anyone who values being treated with respect and fairness as a customer. The minimum order limit policy is a major turn-off, and there are plenty of other cafes in the area that don't impose such arbitrary restrictions.RESPONSE TO THE OWNER COMMENT WHICH SAID THAT “none of that is real”:I have attached the screenshot from their menu below and highlighted the exact minimum order policy.I question your credibility in denying my experience. I stand by my review and have evidence to back it up. Denying your customers' experiences and attacking their credibility is not appropriate and calls into question the honesty of your business.

I’ve been a fan of their warm chocolate mud cake for the last two decades. Just hits the spot every time. Other items to try are the Nachos and Chicken Quesadilla.

We love this place, great for a late night coffee/desserts scene. It's tiny but cozy! It used to be open 24 hours but recently closes at 3am. Either way, great option for those late night sweet tooths. Try the chocolate mud cake, or vegetarian nachos if you're hungry!
