Disgustingly rude (most likely, miserable) owner. Discriminated against my child with special needs. I have a mask exemption due to my daughters struggles and Lisa still refused us entry and told me I should be able to “handle my child” with a mask on (because she obviously knows better than specialists). I know who she would have been a huge fan of in 1940’s Germany…

It's a real vintage store. You can find something interesting here. The store is rarely seen clear and it's worth to have a look.

Really not sure what the negative reviews for this business are talking about? Great little antique store with different stall holders. Good variety of items and majority are reasonably priced. Found some great little finds here! Lady at the desk was lovely and very helpful. When we walked in she welcomed us and asked if we wanted assistance or were happy browsing. She rang the owner of a stall for us when an item was missing it’s price.This is an antique shop with lots of old and fragile items, not suitable for young children who want to touch and explore everything.Really confused by the negative reviews around mask wearing. Either way, mask mandates are finished so don’t let these reviews put you off. Come to the shop and see for yourself the great customer service we’ve received each time we visit.

Fantastic shop full of delightful finds. I go here every few months and always find something I love. Customer services and prices are great too. They have good silverware, jewelry, furniture, knick nacks, chandeliers, wreaths, paintings, china... Definitely worth a visit.

Had a really wonderful afternoon browsing through Butler’s this afternoon, and as usual left with a bag full of fabulous finds. Can’t wait to visit again! Contrary to some really weird reviews criticising this business for Lisa and Lisa’s enforcement of legal requirements surrounding masks and vaccinations and check ins, I had no issues complying with this and am wondering why if you are a conscientious objector for whatever reason you cannot simply leave quietly and leave a perfectly good and wonderful business alone instead of trying to trash their business online. It’s so unfair that small business owners need to deal with this vile carry on in person and online from rude and abusive people for simply following the law. If you’ve got a problem take it up with your MP and Spring St, not your local retailers. Love this place and think the women running it are fantastic.

I spent some time browsing and shopping at Butlers today. As alway I found Lisa to be very friendly and helpful. Sadly, I witnessed two shoppers abuse Lisa for asking them politely to wear a mask. Lisa explained that entry to Butlers was conditional on wearing a mask as they were trying to keep all customers and staff safe. Both of these ladies said they had exemptions, however I noticed neither offered proof. Surely when COVID 19 is out of control in Victoria it is not unreasonable for a proprietor to request that all customers entering their premises wear a mask. Please remember kindness and a good attitude costs nothing, even when you are disappointed.

Quite disappointed to see this beautiful shop given bad reviews about mask exemptions! I can't help but think these are lies made up to ruin a small business as I wasnt asked to wear a mask and the owner wasn't wearing one given mask mandates are now finished. Come on people! My experience yesterday was the first time visiting this store and I loved it so much I not only walked around the store twice but also made some beautiful purchases. The owner was very welcoming and kind and we had a great chat. The store is carefully curated with quality items not junk like some antique stores. They are also very reasonably priced. I will definitely be coming back here. And telling others to go too :)

Love Butlers! There’s so many varieties of treasure & it’s great fun having a rummage to see what you can find. The window displays are amazing & Lisa is always really helpful.

Run by a discriminant, vile & disgusting woman who believes she has the right to overrule government regulations.How does someone so bitter & hateful remain in business that requires basic customer service?

Lovely well priced items. I browse and purchase every time I visit. Curiously, the owners seem intent on complaining about something I've done, so I checked out other reviews and although this is the first time I've left such a review, I see others are more forthright about their off-putting experiences. If it's the items I'm rating, five stars, a feeling of being welcome to browse and pleasant interaction...hmmm. I live in hope. Perhaps this will improve.
