Hamilton Botanic Gardens
Lovely Botanical Gardens to all through. Gorgeous old trees, well kept lawns. A lovely pond with a bridge to still over .. must come back when the water lilies are flowering. Park and swings for the kids and a few tables and benches for lunch.

Beautiful gardens with some lovely historic aspects.We visited in winter when many trees were bare, but the gardens were still lush, green and varied.However, some of the paths are poorly maintained and pose a significant tripping or falling hazard to anyone who, like me, has mobility issues or is unsteady on their feet.

Beautiful peaceful gardens. Have a lovely bird Avery also and lots of areas to sit and have your picnic lunch.. one thing I love is they are one of the only gardens we have been to that allows dogs on leads.. just be respectful please and clean up after your dog if they go to the toilet...

Nice botanical gardens. Well looked after and maintained. Peaceful. Chairs and tables around good for a picnic or just to sit and have a break. Great to have a look at.

Hamilton Botanic Gardens
Always a lovely stop at the Hamilton Botanical Gardens. We enjoy bringing our picnic here where we can enjoy as a family before having a slow walk through the stunning well maintained gardens.It's sad to see the old emu enclosure go to ruins though, it would be wonderful to see some wildlife back in the area as is brings back wonderful memories of my childhood..

always a lovely family friendly place to have a picnic or just go for a nice stroll! plenty of shade for hot sunny days! usually very clean and well looked after though some parts are currently blocked off due to work and maintenance.
