Adrian and his team are very helpful and accommodating, focussed on each individual client and their expectations and requirements. Apart from cutting and styling my hair, Adrian helped me to understand how best to fix myself up for my Wedding Day! I hope that readers of Google Reviews will grant Mugshot Hair Dressers the opportunity they deserve, to do a great job and take care of your requests: their Facebook page shows how well they are regarded. Unfortunately some of the other reviews here are posted by toxic serial pests, who never have anything good to say about anyone, and who vent their unhappy lives in the form of unhindered nastiness directed at the rest of the world... because, of course, they are blameless.

Fantastic hair cut and great customer service

Rather than discuss colour work that had been achieved working with one of the best salons in the country for a year through trial and error, they coloured my hair using procedures that were not going to provide an outcome I knew could be achieved if they'd kindly consulted with me about how I wanted my hair to look as well as refer to notes, which are to serve as a back-up resource. Instead they did not foil my hair in the correct places. The foiling must be placed where I part my hair and wasn't. Insufficient foils were used, and not placed where the colour was required. The outcome, not the colour I was wanting as foiling in the correct places can only provide that outcome and twice as many foils should have been used to cover the virgin hair requiring foiling should a quality outcome be achieved. Instead, large areas of virgin hair was painted with a tint. Unthinkable, normally a tint can only to be used on my hair in between foils, not as the prominent means to cover large areas of virgin hair which necessitate foils for a suitable colour to be achieved. Foiling is time consuming and when a good outcome has been achieved the stylist works hard to foil large areas of hair, not paint on tint which is supposed to be applied between foils not cover the side of my head and no foils applied, only a few applied later as I insisted they be applied but only 3 on each side where normally there would be be many. A cop-out to reduce work and no professional would do such irresponsible work. Instead I had a tint painted over large sections of virgin hair, a quick, lazy job. Important steps were overlooked and not enough foils applied to the correct areas so the colour is unacceptable. They left out another important step that if not followed leaves the hair white and with no colour. Months of working with a kind professional stylist allowed me to know the necessity of this step and they left it out. I attempted to discuss known steps to correct the work as the girl admitted she had not included that step and I knew the dreadful outcome could be fixed. Every other salon visited in the country always tried to correct something especially if travelling and if the first visit often something may need to be redone. When visiting a salon for the first time and a large colour job is undertaken often something needs to be improved and does not require much time or effort. However the whole job in this instance was so unprofessional. I tried to politely point out a matter that was plainly obvious and knew it could be improved, however how I was then treated is beyond words. Other salons have always taken me back to the basin and added some solution to improve the outcome, add foils, many efforts on different visits, to different salons around the country, that treat clients with decency. Instead, the girl that did the job, which is normally a big job, had cut corners and provided a lazy approach rather than do the job properly leaving the room at the end rather than discuss the outcome she handed me over to the male partner. I tried to explain the situation to the male who was obnoxious, rude, arrogant and impertinent. He said dreadful things to me. I was trying to point out something to assist fixing the job done but his response was so unprofessional and impertinent it is not even worth writing the worthless remarks. Unprofessional thugs. Instead of being a gentleman and assisting me to have an intelligent discussion to correct the areas that concerned me he was so rude a person wouldn't want to remain in his presence. I simply wanted to leave the premises.I am accustomed to diligent, friendly, courteous, focused professionals and have experienced such for many years. It was necessary to simply leave the premises as the comments made were an expression of what he was and nothing to do with me. A high paying customer that deserves to be assisted, left paying higher than top salons interstate, without my hair styled or cut as the colour was completely wrong and their manner and conduct a disgrace. Unprofessional hilbillies.

Locally owned and operated. Recently moved to the area and booked in on a friend's recommendation. Made to feel like a long term local and a nice professional haircut too. ☺️

Haven’t had a bad cut there yet and they are super friendly. Highly recommend
