Kempsey Powerhouse Motel
Phenomenal service ! Jason went above and beyond for our stay, over a weeks long without a car. He drove us into town to get supplies, accommodates all asks if he can and the food was fantastic. The room was clean and fresh daily. Dog friendly is an understatement they are the friendliest most accomodating Motel in N.S.W.We will stay again when visiting Kempsey.Mick & Nina

Kempsey Powerhouse Motel
I love this place. It's got everything you need at an extremely reasonable price. It enabled me to travel with my dog and Jason and his wife could not have been more flexible and welcoming; they even stayed open late to accommodate late Sydney arrivals over Christmas. The room was large and clean, the bed was made with beautiful linen and very comfortable, the bathroom was spotless, they provided an actual hair dryer, not a wall one ,Netflix was available, and the whole thing was quiet and air conditioned. It really is a little gem and the perfect stopover for a weary driver.

Kempsey Powerhouse Motel
After reading the reviews for a pet friendly motel on the highway for travel, I chose this gem. A fantastic little motel to stay at just off the highway, easily accessed. The rooms were wonderful, very clean and tidy and everything you need for a short lay over.We stayed in the twin single room and the beds were so comfortable, and the pillows as well. Great amneties and pets are welcome.The owners are lovely people, very accommodating, personable and they know customer service to a tee, I cannot thank them enough for their hospitality.The prices are very modest especially for what you get for the rooms and service. Other places I have stayed at are priced much higher and rooms grimey and old.I highly recommend this motel, will be at the top of my list every time I travel between Sydney and Brisbane now (or generally any time I'm down this way). The previous 5 star reviews say it all.

Unexpected oasis between Sydney and the Gold coast. Lovely big trees, guest saltwater pool edged by palms, grassy areas in front and behind. Comfy bed. A k or so off the highway, so a bit quieter. Nice to chat to Jason too (motellier). Everything neat and tidy in the room.

This motel was extremely comfortable and the service was excellent. Room service was amazing and the quality of the food was incredible. All amenities were provided and the room was very clean, neat and tidy. The price was super competitive and I was extremely comfortable during my stay. An excellent choice for all travelers. Thank you Jason and team for a wonderful stay.

Stayed one night in unit 2.Room was clean and comfortable.Reception was closed when we arrived at about 6pm.Called the number but call was not picked up.But after 10 mins the lady came.The taps in the bathroom gives a loud noise when turned on.

A true diamond in the rough. Great place to stop over between Sydney and Brisbane. This place is pet friendly on request. Room was large with a modern bathroom and all very clean. Will stay again.

Kempsey Powerhouse Motel
Only stayed overnight, but well worth it. Room was fantastic, had a sofa, dining table and chairs, heaps of room. Lovely hot shower with great water pressure. Room service dinner of reef n beef was the best we have ever had. Steak, prawns and scallops were cooked to perfection, and so fresh, none of that crumbed frozen stuff. Would definitely recommend Powerhouse to others.Thanks guys. Oh and our dog loved it too.
