Great to deal with from start to finish. Quick with their communication and accommodating and understanding where needed. Would use them again.

The process for drop off was confusing at first but follow the arrows around to the back and in the time it takes to pay they had the mattresses off and I was on my way. For us it was a much better option than the pick up service.

Soft Landing are only open Monday to Friday but the Hume Resource Management Centre around the corner accepts mattresses for recycling for $36 (2020) per piece and is open on weekends.

We live in a new suburb so I wasn’t able to book online as they didn’t have our suburb listed. I rang up to organise a pick up which I thought would be pretty straightforward, there’s neighbouring suburbs which they already do pick ups from. I’ve been waiting 2.5 weeks for them to ‘check and call me back’ even after a follow up call two weeks ago. Pretty sure they don’t want my business or care. This is a real shame as we were so grateful to have a service which would allow us not to create more unnecessary landfill. Maybe the government curb side pick up is the only option!

Dealt with them once pre-COVID and they were good; drop-off was easy.Now they seem to have more work-for-dole volunteers who aren't helpful, sit around and will give you incorrect information, a complete waste of time. Easier to take it to the tip down the road and pay the extra few dollars.

Highly recommended: Easy and affordable. I used Soft Landing in July 2021 to recycle old two mattresses as well as packaging material for two new mattresses.Booking online was easy; subsequent questions I had were answered promptly; and everything was collected as expected.What could be made clearer on the website is that some suburbs are only serviced on certain days of the week and collection might sometimes not take place straight away.I encourage everyone to support this social enterprise; I was certainly happy with the service I received.

Absolutely useless service!! Understandably, they have suspended drop-offs because of COVID-19, which is ok. The only option they offer now is kerbside pickup. However, if you live in an apartment block in the city centre, you don't have a kerbside. You can't just dump the mattress on a busy main street awaiting collection. I tried to arrange to drop the mattress off in some other location where they can collect it but they were completely uninterested in doing that. The Soft Landing person that I was talking to on the phone just couldn't care less that I don't have a kerbside where I can leave the mattress and, essentially, said that it's just tough luck for me. Such a pathetic attitude!

Disappointed that their online information had not been updated to state that even though they are open for business, they are no longer accepting anything from the public due to covid-19. You drive out there for nothing.

they didn't pick up the mattress. followed up they said someone would call...no called followed up again still no resolution.update: after escalating again my issue was resolved
