Staff not helpful at all. I went 1 hour prior my appointment just to ask if I have enough documents as I wanted my passport urgently. The staff was in hurry to take my appointment early instead of checking and confirming my documents. After few hours they are emailing me to provide additional documents... Its just waiting of the time and untrained staff.. I am in urgent need of passport and I am still waiting for my passport...

Inefficient booking system and some rude staff.I arrived 5 min late due to not finding parking in the city. Booking system rejected my ticket. Staff sitting their doing nothing no customers after me in the line she booked me for another day although its only a 5min document authentication process and I had all papers ready with me. All this is done with a rude attitude she didn't even look into the face.Not nice at all a customer service training refresher should be considered. (Some other staff members were awesome though).

Exceptional service forAuthentication Services.Initially I was concerned after reading previous reviews.I drove 600+ kms from rural WA and the service was nothing short of friendly & exceptional.I had all my documents prepared beforehand.Staff went out of their way to ensure a 12 hour turnaround of documents as I had further appointments the following day which required authenticated documents for an overseas work visa. Please disregard previous reviews as I current service is impeccable. Staff were very understanding and attentive.Thankyou DFAT Perth for going above and beyond and serving our community so well. The lady working on the switch board is incredibly rude. She put me through to a phone number which no one answered and when I rang again and asked me to put me through to someone, she simply hung up on me twice. As she is an APS employee I would think that her job would be to assist the Australian Public! Unbelievable..

If you want do legislation, you have to plan you need visit this place at least twice with min 1 hour waiting call time. Yes, even pretty much all federal department let you wait similar time. Called them to make a booking, wait about 1 hour to someone pick up the phone. Went there told me my documents cannot make requirements, so make another booking. They not open on afternoon, so it means I have to ask another leave for that. Ask them post back the document, they said not believe auspost and can only do normal post. Come on, if you not believe normal post, then let us choice priority one, you not paying postage. So I have ask another leave to pick up documents. So stupid

The lady who picked up the phone is the worst receiptionist ever. I called her twice, the first time she doesn’t care what the hell I am talking about, she just said okay okay I put you through. After 20’ waiting, she picked up the phone again and when she heard my voice, she just hang up on me. What’s wrong with your people ? You guys support to help the community.. please do not treat people like that. Shame shame on you

Nice and friendly staff. Smooth process. However, there should be an alternative way for booking and collecting the legislation documents and their services time need to be extended to 4:00 pm (not 1:00 pm)

The Indian lady is some else. She gives better trearment to specific people and completely shuts the door to other people. That was in person, and over the phone she transferred my call to a line that no one answers and you can wait for the whole day and still no one will answer. She shouldn't work in there.

This organisation has the worst telephone communication system i have ever dealt with, whats seems like endless recordings that just go on and on, forever followed by the most annoying violin music possible. The passport renewal process seems to be designed to make sure nobody ever leaves the country, after 25 minutes i gave up.

Nice and friendly staff, Miss Liz is really amazing she is so kind, she was a wonderful person with me so beautiful.
