Great job Charles Sturt Council. Clean easy accessibility mixed with a great working team working there. Prices are reasonable. With our work we shoot in there on a regular basis. Waiting time is not an issue everything moves like clock work.

Best dump in town, not out to make a buck just provide a service, undercover and protected from the elements, Ive had staff just walk up and start helping to unload when dumping large/heavy items 10/10 service with a smile

This recycling and waste centre must be one of the best in the country, it's very well maintained and operated. You can tell it would be a great place to work.

I'm a rate payer, and I went to use this service which is convenient. So the kids and I made the effort to seperate the rubbish from the recycling rubbish ( paper, cardboard etc ). So rubbish in the 6 X 4 ish go kart trailer and the recycling in the van. Well after paying a gob smacking $120, cos the trailer is slightly larger than standard 6 X 4 he decided from the window, i had to pay tandem trailer rates, but to top it off the welcome you get from the 2 well under qualified, community service picking up papers specialists. That don't accept paper in the cardboard area and When I queried why can't paper go there, he states' cos it says cardboard, where does it say paper' with his side kick chuckling like Cleetus from the Simpsons in the background. WOW Great work Charles Sturt council. Maybe avoid the pre release people to represent you with the public .

Quick and easy here but they don't take all waste

There is a purpose built facility for dumping (& recycling) old motor oils, and it's totally free of charge. Very useful for the home mechanic.Prices overall are pretty reasonable. The site itself is super clean, and the general-rubbish tip area is under cover, which is great for rainy days, or peak summer heat.

I have used this quite a few times. Always polite and helpful. Cleanest waste centre ever! I love the way they repurpose some of the rubbish to help keep the place tidy. I don’t think their charges are too high as some other comments have said. It’s a user pays system and I am happy to pay for my unwanted, unusable rubbish to be disposed of. Too many people want everything for nothing.

Extremely overpriced compared other recycling centres. $115.00 for a trailer load of mixed hard rubbish. Very selective with what items can be taken and don’t allow trade accounts. Very inconvenient to use
