Great subs, well portioned ingredients and they're not afraid to give them a proper toasting. Nice ripe tomatoes each time I've gone too, unlike some of the other subways in town. Great customer service.

After extensive research across all Subways in the Townsville region. I’m happy to share with you that ‘Rising Sun’ Subway located on Ross River Road and next to the Sun Hotel, inside the rising Sun complex. Is the best Subway in Townsville, from the friendly staff, always fresh produce and care when making the sandwiches. This Subway never disappoints.

The worst subway in townsville, the older people working there are incredibly rude and hopeless at making the most basic sub. Take forever to do anything, witnessed the older lady cough on her hand and straight up kept serving not even washing hands. Do not go here because you will be disappointed.

Appalling service, the manager there is especially rude.Talks over you and raises her voice, very unpleasant and unprofessional. I Order from them online when the other subway locations are not delivering and whilst the delivery services I use are outstanding somehow the staff are unable to make my orders correct. I have allergies and they just disregard that altogether, it’s quite frustrating. I literally cannot eat the food.This is hands down the worst subway shop in Townsville. They do not care about their customers, as I mentioned above the manager at this subway is very rude and condescending she appears to not care that her team members got my order wrong potentially putting my life at risk. She placed the blame on the delivery service and would not take any responsibility and refused to listen to what I had to say. She cut me off and spoke over me. Overall, I would strongly suggest people go elsewhere to enjoy their food, I would recommend north ward as they are much much, much better than this location.
