Amazing school, amazing community and amazing experience.OLA helped us feel at ease as first time prep parents, taking the worry out of every step and providing a multi-levelled system of support for students and families.I can’t speak highly enough of the school and all staff members who work there, greeting families by name and with a smile every day!

OLA have honestly gone above and beyond what I’d ever hoped for in a transition into prep. From The grade 6 buddies sending letters in the Christmas holidays with a welcoming pack, to teachers welcoming us every morning, by name at the gates, to the principal there to control traffic at home time pick up and to say goodbye at the end of EVERY school day. The well-being teachers are so amazing and have again, gone above and beyond to help my daughter settle in and feel comfortable with all the struggles and new experiences that preppies come across. The prep teachers have also been excellent. Thank you OLA for welcoming us into your family and including ALL our family into your school. We feel extremely loved and happy to leave “our baby” in your hands. You’ve helped us ease our worries about our daughter starting school with your unconditional love and light.My daughter LOVES & skips into school each morning where not only the teachers, but most of the older students welcome her by name!! What anOUTSTANDING school!

Have 2 kids here.They absolutely love it and adore they’re teachers.One was lagging behind in reading during prep and they set up a catch up class for him. Which now has him upto the standard and he now enjoys reading.Couldn’t of asked for anything else froma primary school tbh. A+Feeling grateful we choose OLA.

Can't speak highly enough of OLA as a primary school and local community. The teachers and staff are amazing, and our kids go off happily to school each day. As well as the core curriculum, this year our kids have also had the opportunity to try swim squad, bike ed, interschool sports, cross country, after school art, chess club and wakakirri! Thanks Richard, Caitlan and all the staff for the great job you all do!

Was a good school for the most part up until my grade 6 year. The new principal limits the total space available for the students to play in and raises the school fees way too high. He makes the school a suitable place for himself rather than the kids. The teachers are very favourable to a few kids then are completely horrible to the rest. Would not recommend this school to anyone looking.

We were new to the school last year, and have felt welcomed from the minute we inquired.When walking in to drop our daughter off each day now, we get the sense the school are helping develop young people to be kind, conscientious and well rounded.From attending the open days and talking with teachers it’s clear they are providing a rigorous curriculum with skilled teaching and learning too.Fair to say, we are very happy parents.

Our son started in Prep last year at OLA and we could not have asked for a better start to his schooling life. He has absolutely thrived, grown in confidence and has loved going to school everyday. The OLA community is just amazing and it is such a happy place to be. We could not be happier!!!

We would highly recommend this school, from the moment we joined we felt very much part of the OLA community. Communication from the school, the leadership team at the school and the teachers we’ve had the pleasure of dealing with over the past few years have been excellent.

We are in our second year of OLA and our son feel well supported by the OLA community. They have a great buddy program where the students are well integrated and have a great role model to look up to . What a wonderful welcoming community to be part of.

We have three children that attend OLA and we love the sense of community and belonging that we experience and that is demonstrated.Our kids say that they love OLA because; the staff are kind, there are fun activities that help them learn and that they are happy to make friends and play outside. I echo their sentiments as well and would highly recommend this school.
