Umu Kitchen provided buffet dinner catering and delivered everything to our home, along with a beautiful custom designed birthday cake. Everything was delicious. Communicating with Emily & Soane was so easy and a real pleasure, and it feels great to support a wonderful local family-run business. Highly recommend!

This cafe had such a beautiful ambience - no matter where you sit you can experience the warm and inviting feeling. Despite having a carpark, there is very limited parking due to the other shops nearby. Street parking can be difficult depending on when you visit; we had to walk around the block.Was greeted as soon as we walked in, and appreciated the high level of customer service. However, when taking orders I noticed a lot of the waiters didn’t have anything to note it down, relying on memory. When giving our order, the waitress seemed a little overwhelmed and had to repeat it 3 or 4 times to make sure she had it correct. We felt by simply having a tablet or notepad, potential issues could be avoided and save alot of time!We ordered the Lamb Melt ($16), a Nutella donut ($6) and two coffees. Coffees were overall pretty enjoyable, I liked the dark chocolate topping on my cappuccino!! We were really disappointed with our food here though. The slow cooked lamb was absolutely delicious, but the serving size was so small. It felt like we got the end bit of the sourdough and to fill the plate up Chef’s just added a large serving of super cold salad. The fried eggplant in the salad was cold and soggy, which was also unusual to us. We think the salad just wasn’t our style, so this is definitely a subjective experience. However, our donut was also underwhelming. Despite asking for it heated, it didn’t come as such… and it was noticeably a few days old. It still tasted pretty good though!Overall, the vibe of this cafe is what would definitely bring me back. Just sitting near the open windows gave off such a great feeling, and I really appreciate the cafes dedication to providing good customer service. Would like to come back and try out some of their other menu items!

This was my first time here. The mocha was the best I've had in ages! Good balance, and real chocolate flakes inside and on top. I ordered a Cuban sandwich on Turkish bread, also the first time I've tried one. It was very good, mustardy and cheesy, with a zing of ginger. Yum!Service was friendly and genuine, and the physical café is quirky. I will go back.

The omelette for breakfast wasn't nice, very bland. The mushroom dish was overpowered with vinegar and cold, and I would say it was sitting for a long time. The coffee was great with the grated cocoa chocolate on top.The service was great, maybe too much, it wasn't a nice breakfast.

Dreadful food. Frittata looked old and contained rocket; the chips were tasteless and unrecognisable as chips. Coffee was luke warm. Poor service. Won't go back!

This is one of the most fun and tasty cafes in the area.Atmosphere - 5/5. I love the plants everywhere. It's so calming.Coffee - 5/5. Had an oat flat white.Food 6/5. Especially if you love going to cafes like me and are sick of the standard smashed avo and eggs benny. The island dishes were a delight.The only thing is it's a bit pricey but that's not really surprising given it's a boojie cafe

Grabbed a coffee this morning. The place was busy but the coffee was good. The reason why I docked a star was because the ordering process wasn’t smooth. I was told to sit down but my order wasn’t taken. Apparently you have to order at the counter. It was busy so maybe there was some confusion. Anyhow apart from this minor issue the cafe was well presented and will return.

Went to this cafe around 9ish, took a while to find a park. The shop was busy but the staff still managed to get me my coffee (nice job team) in good time. Coffee was nice. They have a wide selection of snacks in the cabinet. I’ve docked a star for the parking but will be back, I think it’s one of the better cafes in the area.
