Always have had an excellent experience here for our dog, cat and chickens! Great advice and timely appointments available! So glad we have this service locally available!

We had an emergency visit on a Saturday morning, and despite being very busy they made sure to take very good care of our dog and she is recovering well. The vet and the lady at reception had many emergency cases to care for but still took the time to give each pet the attention and care they needed.

They are like the doctors always late even if you have an appointment plus very expensive

Had 2 consultations to try and get my dogs eye fixed. They basically did guesswork and things got worse. I sought a 2nd opinion at another vet and the problem was fixed immediately. Charged me near $500 for nothing and then had the gall to send me a bill for $8 a month later because they forgot to add something to my bill. Worst vet ever.

I was not impressed by my dog being taken away from me in the examination room to be examined behind the scenes without me. I was not invited to be with him but instead just left standing waiting in the examination room wondering what on earth was going on! He later developed a painful infection, from where he had been shaved near his bottom by the vet and had obviously been accidently nicked during the process when I was not with him.

While travelling through from Victoria I picked up an injured bird. This is something I do frequently. Bega Veterinary Hospital was the closest vet I could take the bird to and they made me and my rescued friend very welcome. But not only did they do that, they actually rang me later that day to let me know the outcome for the bird. In all the years of my rescuing various animals this is the first time a veterinary hospital has done this. I fully don't expect it; treating wildlife isn't a for profit venture and I understand and sympathise with the machinations of running and working in a busy practice. So this simple phone call was well above and beyond what was required or I expected and truly made my day. With this level of care and service I wouldn't hesitate to take my pets to this vet hospital if I lived in the area or am ever travelling through with a pet that needs vet care.
