Lovely place to retire for so many local people. Big rooms and beautiful surrounds.

Peaceful Living at The Grange Villas - PittsworthMy mother lived at The Grange Villas for 6 years before having to move into the high care facility at Beauraba Living Pittsworth just recently. Mum resided in a 2 bedroom unit with single lock-up garage (that also housed a large built-in storage cupboard). Whilst there she had the back porch glassed in to make another good sized room off the back of the unit. This area was great as you got the warmth in the morning from the sun. Mum's unit was very roomy, good sized built-in bedrooms, well appointed kitchen with loads of cupboard space and large walk-in pantry; dining area off the kitchen; very large linen cupboard space with room for vacuum cleaner, brooms etc. Sliding doors off the dining room area conceal where the washing machine/dryer is located - and yes, more storage. All the units are fitted with a 24 hour medical alert system; telephone and NBN (internet) is to all units in the village. Lovely gardens are planted at the front and rear of the units (and well taken care of by the grounds person). Beautiful green lawns throughout the complex which are manicured to perfection. The complex is a family run business and they can't do enough for you - always checking in to see you're OK and for a chat. A monthly calendar of events is delivered to every unit with an invitation to all to join in on the monthly BBQ; card afternoons; bingo; sitting in on piano exams by the local kids and much more. My mother will miss The Grange Villas (Pittsworth) and all it has to offer. If you're looking for somewhere nice to retire, look into this villa complex. Pittsworth is quite a large town with Woolworths & IGA Supermarket; Banks; Coffee shops; Bakery. It's a close 40 minute drive to Toowoomba City for all other shopping needs. You can even jump on the Toowoomba Bypass and head straight for Brisbane. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
