Australia Post - Yeppoon Post Shop

I was told I should have received a SMS to pick up my delivery but I did not receive any, what I did receive is an EMAIL but the lady was Soo persistent that I did receive a SMS I had to show ID to get my package. She had no idea that emails were an option... Kind of annoyed with that but overall good..

Constantly having trouble retrieving parcels that should have been delivered but redirected to post office, staff very unhelpful in accommodating such a simple process

Yeppoon Post Office staff are super friendly, efficient and polite all with a great sense of humour ! I’m not sure where all these former reviewers have been but surely not to see the girls at the Yeppoon P.O. as they are the best !

Unbelievably poor customer service by a younger lady today with blonde-ish curly hair. Went in to collect my parcel at around 10:30am and was told it wasn’t there yet - I asked if I could have my parcel put in my 24 hr locker as I work 05:30am to 05:30pm mon-fri and I was told no. I asked what my options were as I cannot pick up my parcel during opening hours and this particular post office is not open on Saturday mornings like most others, I was blatantly told I just won’t be able to collect my parcel and she told me she couldn’t help me at all and to move along.I very rarely post negative reviews but his lady was so unbelievably unhelpful and rude towards me and other customers in the store and was yelling rudely across the store telling people to get out ( a lot were very elderly and may not have understand the store rules with COVID). I have been served by this lady numerous times and I cannot believe that she is still employed with AusPost, numerous customers walk out of the store upset when dealing with her.I do understand that there is pressure with the pandemic but that doesn’t constitute being ridiculously rude to customers who are kind and respectful of the demand in their stores at the moment.Lodged a customer complaint to AusPost head office.

This post office has a bad track record of redirected mail which I use regularly. A number of times I have had mail sent to my old address and recently an important financial item. Redirection is expensive and expect to get what I pay for

Parcel was lost at this post office - hugely disappointed that they said it was delivered and left at my premise when I had a slip to say it was at the post office and online updates for tracked postage said unable to leave in safe place and was delivered to PO. They just blatantly lied when they realised they’ve lost it.

One of the staffs was extremely rude and racist, I showed her my driver’s licence but she did not let me take my parcel (which is under my name) and argues that it’s the wrong address, yes because I’ve just moved in. She wanted me to get it sorted it out first and get a sticker from the transport! I rang Aus Post and asked their opinion how it should be and they mentioned that they only check ID’s with your name on it and it should match with the parcel! Also, I have the Aus Post app that notified me that’s it’s ready to be collected, would another person get the notification too? So pathetic!However, I admire Kelly who served me after talking to Aust Post on the phone and gave me my parcel that day without any hesitation. Thank you Kelly!

This was my local post office for 9yrs, I also sell online and in the last 12 months sent approx. 900 packages and pretty much are in the shop daily. All the staff are fantastic, always offer help to get something off in the most economical way & if time allows are always up for a chat!!In all this time I have NEVER encountered any rude or disinterest from any of the staff. I truly wish the same could be said for so many of the general public, I have witnessed some very disgraceful behaviour And general rudeness towards the staff.In todays world it seems so many people feel enabled to treat people any old way they please. I do not envy the job these beautiful Lady's do!! they are all STARS, I have now moved interstate & really do miss my Yeppoon Post Shop Gals, keep smiling, and to the general public, please consider the volume and amount of work they do before becoming vile.

I only put one star as I had to How incredibly rude these staff are here. Evidently they think they are in charge of immigration and treating a young girl like rubbish. I thought their job was to accept paperwork for immigration to approve. Shame new staff didn't come with new post office. I think I'll travel to Rockhampton to do my business Just arrived from Vic and was mortified by this sort of country courtesy!

This post office appears to have terrible reviews, however the lovely lady who served me was great, and took the time to look up prices for shipping even though there were other people in line. Other than the cost which isn't her fault, the whole process was seamless.
