World heritage listed convict site, many of the old buildings and farm equipment still there to see and photograph. I was only there for a day visit. The accommodation cottages look comfortable from the outside.

Historic. Calming and just wow. This little gem is well worth the visit. Ducks, chickens, turkeys, fowl of all varieties. Incredible information about the estates beginning and subsequent 7 generations in one family. There were easy access, very clean toilets. The grounds are mostly flat and simple to navigate for 9 years old to 90 year Olds. Give yourself an hour at least and think.about taking the walk over to Woolmers estate. Brilliant.

Beautiful little historic cottage, perfect place for relaxation. We felt like we had gone back in time. Perfect set up for us and our 2 well behaved English Bulldogs.Cosy, private, well prepared breakfast provisions and fully self contained for preparing dinner. Definitely will return to spend longer, one night definitely not long enough.

We stayed in the well equipped Farm Cottage that was originally built in 1831 and had a lovely time. Very peaceful and surrounded by historic buildings and widlife. We would love to stay again.

Felt I had stepped back in time. I prayed in the beautiful chapel. The detailed brochure was very helpful indeed. The buildings and history are so interesting. I recommend Brickendon to visitors but allowing time to really see everything. The receptionist is extremely friendly. The sheep, rabbit, turkeys, ducks add to the experience.
